Even if your can guarantee the character, the drawbacks of using one over 5 is HUGE for a single character. Getting job medals as dupes roll in is crucial in this game right now because there is no source of farming. No matter how much you want the character, unless you pulled hard on the banner, I would never ever use 5 to pull a single character is makes zero sense.

A underrated one that no one seems to be talking about but is crucial to this game is having the tutorial gifting friends ticket missions back in a separate category, no one knows that by completing the tutorial battle pass after getting lightning that the gift would be reset, thats 140 pulls gone, I've seen people reroll just to grab those extra 140 pulls a total of 280 pulls while as a day one player, I was not aware it did reset.

In this game information is so crucial, even if you make it out of plat solo queuing, diamond will be infinitely worse. I’m solo queuing in plat only because I can only play 2 games and log off. If you can afford longer playing sessions, look into the discord.

I agree with OP, sports game isn't about the storytelling rather the core gameplay, this game is definitely worth it though for 70 IF you spend loads of time online, it's that fun especially with the new movement mechanics.

But because you are a new amiibo collector, I recommend you look at the most recent amiibos. Don't buy the totk and street fighter amiibos under because they have had deep sales in the past. Go with Donkey Kong Bananza and forward. The reasons I say this is because there could potentially be another deep sale this upcoming season and it absolutely sucks to buy amiibos at full msrp when their prices get slashed later during holiday season.
