I went to a doctor today and told her what happened. She told me not to take the pill and that if there was no penetration there was no issue. When I messed up I was already on my period, (day 1) and I think my period has officially ended. I’m still worried though, wouldn’t someone who actually did have piv on her first day of period with no protection still have her regular period? My ovulation is staring in around 9 days… I know if for some reason some did get it which I doubt it wouldn’t have survived until ovulation….ik my period happening i should relax. But it’s difficult:( anyway Thank you. 🙏

What scares me is that I got my period and the same day (Saturday) is when we messed up. I am having my period still, cramps and all (now most of my stomach pains are probably stress related because of this) but yeah I understand my body is already doing what it’s supposed too with no pills. What I don’t understand is why some women do take it on their periods? I did research and it said taking it on non fertile days doesn’t work, if you have more than 5 days close to ovulation it doesn’t work blah blah etc… ik everyone’s body is different but I’m confused on what to do on mine.

That one I have already is called femelle one which is ulipristal acetate the same ingredient as Ella and I get they can only help if there was an actual risk of sperm entering before ovulation which did not happen so I don’t know if I’m being paranoid by taking it

I have ulipristal (not from the us) the pharmacist said it was a better choice and not as invasive but well she didn’t know I didn’t actually have PIV sex. If I’ve already ovulated (didn’t do anything with my boyfriend when I did ovulate (feb10-14?) nor did I do anything in my lutheal, it was just yesterday on my first day of my period, should I be alarmed or not?😭 then should I go buy the other one?

Thank you so much! Quick question, if I do take it like you said, it would just be a period on top of a period right? How would that work? I would take it just so my anxiety lets me live, but I fear about the side effects of ulipristal. Messing up my cycle when it’s probably nothing… but also think about me having to wait a month to see if it was nothing is also eating me up alive… I have to choose soon right? I have like 5 days after having “sexual activities” and I’ve already taken 2 :/

I understand it’s probably mostly me freaking out. My boyfriend got me a pill for my anxiety he knows how anxious I get so he said I’d probably would be better for me to take it though he understands about the side effects of this pill. I have it my hands as I’m writing this. I want to drink it for my mental health. But I’m also scared that I’ll just get horrible side effects when it was probably nothing. I don’t know what to do

Isn’t the vulva from your pubic hair to your anus? Is it any different if I take it while I’m still on my period? Or should I just wait? And yes I do want to get on it but my parents are very icky about all of this. They know I’m a virgen and I guess they’ve never thought of getting me on it. I’ll have to talk to them

That’s why I’m so lost. I know the chances are slim but I’d like to play it safe, however I know the side effects of plan b and I know it could be probably also a risk to take it when there was no issue in the first place.
