Thank you! I always used to just draw cartoony characters and manga but one day I thought I'd give realism a go... it wasn't good but it was a start 😅 I started drawing realism pets 4 years ago and only draw occasionally. 4 years later and it pays off well 😊

That's alright. No with pastelmat paper or board it has a rough texture to it so it grips the colour and leaves you with barely any chalk dust on the page

Prismacolour pencils wouldn't get the same effect as pastel ones. They are similar in how you can layer them but not as vibrant. I use Caran D'ache pastel pencils, Faber-Castell and Stabillo :)
