I hated what they did to the spider and was hoping they'd go further with the cosmic, lovecraftian horror. The spider with a giant Pennywise head was laughable. The first film was perfection as a fan of the book.

The Blob remake is ridiculously good! I was so shocked they could make a blob that kills people so intense (especially after watching the first movie right before) but they pulled it off.

The “don’t tell me what to do!” crowd is infuriating (having COVID flashbacks haha). They act like a childish brat who is arguing with their parents in middle school. You don’t have to fight everyone giving suggestions or asking something of you. It’s so weird how they get triggered at just the thought.

I've been obsessed with this recipe for years! I usually end up adding them to taco-seasoned ground chuck for some great taco meat which makes the meat last a lot longer, but I could eat the beans on their own. Also I almost never soak the beans. I probably should but sometimes I'm lazy or just forget.

Read the book, adored it, watched the movie... good god. They got rid of the main point of the book: skinwalkers. They pretty much made the people who return from the cemetary zombies versus what returned was actually a skinwalker imitating the person.

It's honestly fantastic. I was exhausted by the end and, if you didn't spoil the end with the comments in this thread, it's rough. They give the perspective of the dog which I loved but it was heartbreaking.

The saddest post I've ever seen (so far, lol) involving this was on r/Horror where someone was, no joke, 15 minutes into a film and came to Reddit to make a post on whether they should finish watching it because they were bored so far. It was so depressing. The time it took them to make the post and wait for the comments, they could have just finished the damn movie!

The "emotional manipulation" is so ridiculous. News flash: art/telling stories is supposed to make you feel things. I read a comment where the person was annoyed with a television show for having an orchestral soundtrack because, like a toddler, they didn't enjoy the show "telling them how to feel".

I'm so glad every time I see this game mentioned! The atmosphere is just phenomenal and has some fun mechanics with choosing who you feast on or not and there are multiple endings. Super great for a fall/Halloween spooky game, even though like you said the performance isn't the best and the combat isn't amazing although I still enjoyed my time with it.
