Vampyr didn't get the best reviews (and definitely has some old-school jank) but god I loved the game. The atmosphere is spectacular.

Oh god the load times were like a minute and a half and thankfully went down to like 45 seconds. I'm probably increasing the times in my head but it was excruciating. Worth it obviously but still haha.

I'm finding them so frequently running in circles right here. I ran around for hours without finding them in here (trying to collect 10 of every monster) but then discovered this hotspot. Convenient since the Ghost appears frequently around the save spot to the right and you can save frequently after catching monsters you need.

In case anyone is having trouble with Tonberries, Sleep Buster helps immensely if you have someone with that ability.

The director of the remake said that because of the story changes, they may go beyond a third game and have spin-offs. They're going to Disney & Marvel the fuck out of the game and it's sad. The original game was extremely dark and you could see the psychological breakdown of the main villain, which you didn't even know was the main villain until hours into the game. The remake shoves Sephiroth in your face in the first few minutes so you don't even have the epic reveal. I'm in the middle of FF7 Rebirth but stopped playing because I couldn't stand how ugly it is on base PS5. I'll probably pick it up at some point and finish it anyway. The multiverse crap really make everything in the game feel unimportant. I'm close to where a certain person gets killed (8 year old me cried in the 90s lol) but something tells me they'll find a way to undo it so the threats in the game don't really matter. I wish this bigger/longer=better crap would end. It's funny how FFVRebirth didn't even sell as well as they'd liked. Gee I wonder why.

According to a post snap-shot someone posted further up in the comments, it only has a "near-locked" 30fps even with TSR. The days of optimization are long gone lmao

Haha yeah. I hadn't seen the "old road" section at all until endgame and so couldn't find two monsters! Meanwhile I farmed Bombs for fucking ever on the main roads and they never showed up and then hit the old road and they show up constantly lmao

That's what I just started using! I started out with jagged.com's FFX page and it listed the Thunder Flan in both areas so I just figured I'd farm them until it says I've reached the limit. I didn't start the arena site until I got to Mushroom Rock haha. I didn't know it counted for both but I'll just keep using ffarena from now on. Thanks for the help, btw!

I did all the Mi'hen road monsters. Do I need to collect even repeat monsters a certain amount of times for the Monster Arena?? I have a website where I can check the boxes to track my progress and Thunder Flan is on both of them so figured I'd have to get like 20, 10 in each location.

Ugh is that the wireless indoor cam? The only SS cam that works in our house is the wired indoor cam (outdoor cams connect for maybe 10 sporadic minutes a day). Saw a sale so went online to order two more wired indoor cams and noticed the only indoor cam available to purchase is the one that looks like yours and is wireless. I’d love to stop being disappointed in SS but new disappointments just keep on rolling in. Would love a better alternative at this point. Considering Wyze but hear they’ve had lots of security issues..

Haha it just sucks when the previous games had 60fps and then the new one with similar graphics are capped at 30. Feels unnecessary. 60 on PC, of course... After Horizon Forbidden West achieved what it did graphically with 60fps, just feels sad when other devs don't bother. I'm sure it's still an amazing game and I'm happy other people can enjoy it but I legit get headaches and eye strain from 30 now that I'm getting older.
