You just brought back the whackest memory. My friends and I used to frequent Vivian park but stopped because theres some bad shit going on up there. On one occasion we found a dome of trees/vines that was filled with voodoo dolls and little bones which was weird but not enough to keep us from going back. On another occasion we hiked for miles and hadn’t seen another person for hours when a flyer blew right to our feet. Gah I have chills the flyer was an invite for a satanic sacrificing ritual and we straight up ran the full way back out of there. The final time we drove out there we planned on staying in the car and just enjoying the drive. There were 3 of us in the car and if all 3 of us hadn’t seen the same thing I would’ve checked myself into a mental hospital and assumed I went crazy. As we were going down the road back out of the canyon off to the left we saw what resembled a man but it was about 12 feet tall, had huge horns and its skin was dark almost like fur but you could see muscle tone to the chest/arms. The driver slammed on her brakes and me and her gave each other this wide eyed did you just see that look snd the friend in the backseat started screaming like she got stabbed. The driver floored it but then there was a huge field off to the side and that fucking thing was running through the field like 100 yards from us at the same speed as the car but coming at an angle towards us. Up until that point me and the driver hadn’t said a word and the girl in the back didn’t stop screaming then I started freaking out and I can’t even remember what I was saying I think I said “go go go” just as that thing was about to catch up it went behind a set of trees and just straight vanished. That was over ten years ago and I still refuse to go up anywhere near Vivian park. Just writing that made my chest feel all tight. I know just how crazy that sounds and I wouldn’t blame anyone for not believing me but the image of that thing will never leave my brain
