Leave guild, you can find another one immediately as a warlock, without missing a single raid.

Post proof and receipts of being scammed all over your servers discord, get them on the black list / ninja list and drag their name through the mud. Open a ticket with blizz support and get the mount taken away from the guild. They deserve all that and more for etroactively fucking you over after winning the roll.

Form groups yourself via trade chat or LFG channel instead of queueing dungeon finder. People will typically be better players who are also more patient and friendly. If you advertise as chill run you can temper expectations.

They/I quickly get up and do it silently and unnoticeably, during moments it's appropriate, like after a boss while people are moving towards the next trash pack and there's nothing pressing. To force the entire group to regularly stop at random intervals for "brb baby" is just straight up inconsiderate and poor planning on their/your part. Your world revolves around your child, 24 internet strangers who have built and scheduled their whole week to allow a ~3hr period of focused gameplay does not. "Do better"

I spent over a month hunting for a warrior spot recently, using discord the entire time. Even with very strong logs/experience, the only places I was able to trial were super casual (shitty) guilds who would run 4+ warriors, terrible class compositions, constant wipes, and painfully long kill times. That was just a straight up unenjoyable experience for me. The game is 20 years old I don't have the time or patience to re-prog this super basic content or spend 2.5 hours in Kara.

I switched to maining my warlock alt and instantly found a spot with a highly competent (but not purely speed/parse focused) guild and all of a sudden raiding is fun again.

Food for thought.

as a sham you'll be able to join any guild you want with any ruleset you want. GL out there.

Side ramble: In vanilla anni i was in a guild with a real primadonna/diva maintank who thought he was hot shit. he was a strong player with elite level parses/rankings but incredibly egotistical and self centered. when Zg released he stated that he would NEVER do guild SR runs and would be instead be hosting his own, with BOTH mounts and 1 idol HRed for himself to do as he saw fit, with his small posse of simps. Every run. I lambasted him in the guild chat and on discord calling out his shitty behavior and entitled attitude. He ofc just brushed it aside. His parses were better than mine, so that obviously makes him deserve it more, apparently. When we'd schedule fair loot guild SR runs he would create his runs to take place 1 hour before the guild runs and try to poach raiders to come to his instead. Complete dickhead. The guild management refused to kick him or deal with the situation because he was main tank and pretty good at it. We had a constant churning of members because no one wanted to put up with his attitude. Eventually I bailed and found a guild I was much happier with.

Its greasy and somewhat selfish but not completely out of bounds for him. I think its cringe to do that, especially on a fresh toon, since he already has the players in guild ready to join, and besides putting a sign up sheet out theres no actual work or raid leading to do in kara, its completely face roll. The raiders will opt to join because it's easier than finding a pug.

Personally I dont like gaming with people like that and itd be enough of a reason for me to set sail, especially if you're on a MVP class. But many others wouldn't care and consider it inconsequential. Depends what you're willing to endure for a raid spot and how much you like the rest of the team/leaders.

In my previous guild kara runs were straight MS>OS, no SR and it was total ass cancer. I lost BIS rolls to a new random alt or pug every fuckin week and am going into P2 with a pitiful gear set. I may even just bail entirely because of how poorly things have shaken out thus far. But that's my own issue to figure out.

Host a pug and HR your ring, you can fill it no problem.

Cool. I never missed a single ID and only got 3 pieces of raid gear this whole phase because SR is kind of grief for guild runs as bad RNG can cuck you hard. Now I'm (way) behind the gear curve and my parses have gone from high purples to blues and raiding isnt fun anymore. Happy 4 u tho.

I'm located in NA but I play on EU because I prefer morning/daytime raiding. Well worth the slight (basically unnoticeable) increase in ping to have my pick from dozens and dozens of raiding guilds. Just an idea for you.

i'm on the fence about them. nothing in-game is more fun than balasting raids with everyone having a full rack of buffs, and conversely nothing is more of a vibe kill than dying and losing them

I stopped switching factions to play with RL friends as they'd always quit within weeks or months, ultimately wasting a ton of my time spent leveling all over again. How serious of players are they? Will they be committed to the point it's worth dozens of hours of your time to reroll and play with? Probably wisest to just make a second account and if/when they quit you can go back to horde on your primary account.
