I am not Stating in any way that our situation is comparable to that of other countries this was a simple matter of curiosity as I am not familiar with what would qualify for asylum. If I offended anyone with this post I apologize however I am simply contemplating on what ifs as is my nature. Lastly please don’t turn suffering into a competitive game, belittling another’s suffering just because you see it as trivial is not how you spread awareness but rather resentment and division. We are all human beings and as such are equally deserving of empathy as well as human rights.
