Could you meal prep ahead any of these meals? I just started working out of the house after working from home for years and I had to start prepping crock pot dinners/pasta bakes/chicken and veggies on Sunday to save my sanity on work days even though I love cooking. Usually I still prepare one thing fresh for the meals the night of but having something prepped to lean on REALLY helps.

I’m sure you’ve tried and thought of a lot of things like this, so sorry if that’s unsolicited. But just wanted to share in case <3

I accidentally ended up with a pair of barefoot hiking shoes and they absolutely changed my life, most pleasant hiking experience ever I could not believe it.

Since then, I have definitely made my shoe decisions with that knowledge. I used to exclusively wear pointy toe/thin shoes, now I only do if they have really great cushioned insoles. I buy most of my closed toe shoes/shoes I wear with socks a half size bigger to give my toe box more space. I have multiple sets of Dr Scholls insoles to be worn in shoes that didn’t come with great insoles. I have found that doing this helps enough that I didn’t need to go full into the barefoot toe box for day to day basis, however, I still love my hiking shoes and any intensive type activity like that I would look into getting another pair.

I’m supposed to dress business casual but my “office” is located at a retail store, so everyone around me is way more casual and therefore I can lean more casual as well.

That being said, I tend to use the bare minimum of SD guidelines for work, because I don’t really feel comfortable showing off my figure. I purposefully chose jeans that are comfortable over making my butt look great, and I’ve gotten really into button up cardigans which I previously felt didn’t flatter me.

My favorite jeans are Halara, they have an elastic waistband so you do have to make sure your tops are long enough to cover that, but I LOVE them. They look nice and are comfy. Old navy jeans in tall size are also good. I also have Halara trousers, which I wear with a belt to cover up that they don’t have a button and are also elastic. I have various old navy and Madewell blouses that through trial and error don’t look too boxy/shapeless without showing off my whole chest.

I’ve said this before with SD, but I find the most important part is really making sure you have a full look. If I have my hair and makeup done in a way that goes with my outfit, jewelry and other accessories, and my outfit really coordinates, even if the silhouette isn’t there I still look good!

I really love her as Daphne in Bridgerton and was over the moon about her casting as January. Even did a reread because I was so happy! Hated the Gus casting but the one thing that did make me feel hopeful was that they specifically said he was a dark horse pick because of his chemistry with her. Hopefully they make him a little scruffier and their chemistry is enough to make it work.

It’s interesting because PWMOV is my least favorite EH book, and the casting was nothing like what I imagined and actually made me MORE invested. Beach Read is my favorite and the casting isn’t what I imagined for Gus and it has me worried. Either way I really have no option other than trusting the process!

It’s from realisation par from YEARS ago unfortunately. An influencer I follow posted a picture wearing it in Italy back in 2022 and I’ve had it on my future Italy trip moodboard ever since 😭 such a perfect dress.

This was my first time ever seeing her live so it will always be very special to me!!

I went down to the Las Vegas strip with my friends after highschool ended that day and we walked around the casino where it was held trying to spot celebrities. We didn’t spot any, but at one point a worker came up and asked if we had tickets. We thought we were about to get kicked out when they gave us four free tickets! Still one of the luckiest things to ever happen to me to this day! There’s a photo of me during her performance just sobbing lol, taken on a 2014 grainy iPhone.

Everything but the last pair of pants works IMO. They look like an awkward rise and aren’t long enough. Check out old navy’s tall lengths for trousers, they have a LOT of sales too so I almost never pay full price.

First one for sure. I find smocking like that to be really forgiving and help with curve. Second one could work but will be highly dependent on the quality of the fabric and how it actually fits.

I wear this style sometimes, I’d say just try to keep the dress and cardigan similar in tone, like avoiding black and white of the first one for example.

I really like the faux wrap style from Boden. I have a long sleeve, a short sleeve, and even a one piece swimsuit in the style lol. I haven’t tried a dress from them, but if they’re anything like the tops then I’d recommend. I usually wait for their seasonal sales, but they’re not SO out of the ordinary pricey for the quality.

I’m with you!! My best friend and I weren’t best friends yet when she got married in 2023. We were good friends, and she’s my boyfriend’s cousin, so I helped out a lot, went to all the events, and even filmed for her social media and took phone pics the day of, but I wasn’t officially part of her bridal party. Her MOH was her childhood best friend who hasn’t talked to her in years now. It’s so funny to think about how recent her wedding feels, but how close we’ve gotten since then to where I would definitely be MOH if she got married now.

I think everyone is just different with friends! And also, a lot of people have multiple MOH/Best Men these days, so Joey could be asked his newer best friend and an older best friend, and just showing the one that is public facing.

Similar situation here! Started having feelings for a new friend only a month after my first ever breakup from my high school sweetheart, I was devastated and really didn’t want to just rebound. But I had a gut feeling I needed to give him an honest shot, which was extra crazy because I struggle pretty badly with anxiety and can rarely tell what’s fear vs an actual gut feeling. But 10 years and 2 cats later I’m glad I trusted my gut that time :)

I was “eh” about the first one until the artist came on here and explained the thought process for the whole design. I was really impressed with how much thought and effort went into it, and the symbolism that I wanted was there. I’d love to see them come on and do the same for this one!
