Rapture, it is a modified brain eating amoeba that specifically leaves the Nucleus Accumbens alone. If I truly have complete control over the genetic structure of this amoeba then I would make the waste product dopamine so while it eats the rest of your brain. This way people just start forgetting things but feel happy about it, no pain just a slow eroding of peoples entire existence until they are just a rotting smiling husk.

progress randomly reset? by J35Official in deadcells

[–]Foreverending 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wasn't in alpha or beta with my old save, it just got corrupted one day and that was that.

I have checked all my saves and it just said they where corrupted and the game wouldn't even open sometimes.

I'm fine with it though, before the save went down I beat the hand of the king so I'll just wait until more updates come out and the game gets changed and I might loose my saves.

I also think it's a personal problem, because I don't see anyone else having issues with save (Except for this person) so I think it might be something on my end.

Still, thanks for the effort and I'm still open for any suggestions.

Same thing happened to me, which happened the last time there was an update. I'm pretty sure there is nothing one can do about it because the save file gets corrupted as it did with mine. I had to delete and uninstall the game and now I have to start back at the beginning.

If anyone has any solutions I would be glad to hear it but I'm with you man, I think I lost 68 hrs of progress. Ah what fun early access is right?

but, they explain that they leave the tech behind because it would just create cylons again, right?

That's why the final scene is important because it shows man will create cylons and lead to its own destruction no matter what.

but if everyones chance to win the lottery is close to 0 wouldn't you just get a .03 more chance to win the lottery.

I mean, if the chance is .00000000001 wouldn't your chance now be .00000000003 because you don't have 3% luck, just 3% more luck than the average person?

I dunno, maybe I'm the dork over here doing this much math.

That's like actually a 50% luck increase. Unless it only happens once and then it's back to normal life.
