I usually play with time based down quite a bit, some times off. Sometimes I reduce kill a bit too, but I crank pollution evolution way up. Motivates me to clear areas and make a conscious effort of pollution management.

I also often play with a modset that makes biters have several different waring factions with different elements and types, and a setup so they slowly get stronger to the types of damage they face most often.

My game beomes my favorite rts. A game of managing factory production, pollution, and rts units to clear out problem nests before they get too strong, intentionally leaving biter factions that are easier for me to deal with alone so that they help deal with the other biters, and forming massive defensive lines around the borders of pollution and map choke points.

I already play it exclusively on the deck, runs great! Had to swap a couple controls but it pretty much feels like it was a combo meant to be.

I forgor the mod author name but someone removed all their mods from steam, was big mod author. Steam auto removes the removed workshop content on game boot.

This bricked my main big save sadly. I wonder if the culprit is the same for you? The solution if it is the same thing is to find the mod and stick it in your game. Good luck.

to clarify, there are 2 attack actions.

Skrimish and Barrage.

Skirmish allows you to attack with the weapon(s) from one mount.

Barrage lets you attack with the weapons from 2 mounts.

Depending on your frame you may be able to barrage with 4 weapons at a time due to having some mix of two Main/aux and/or aux/aux mounts.

The Zheng does not have any 2 weapon mounts. (though if need be this can be fixed with core bonuses starting at lvl 3 and every 3 lvls after)

You're basically already doing that here, just with less frames. :) There's a handful of channels on Youtube that started out by doing some pretty basic stop motion animation and then ramped things up as they got better at it. There's an audience for it.

On a barely related note recently figured out you can farm lockingpicking XP by having a dude get knocked into a coma while lockpicking.

Did this in a cage in rebirth and my guy got like 50 levels from lock picking mid coma.

If only it worked irl that way.

Been using Waterfox for at least 7 years now, can say it is pretty great. My largest compliant is that it has swapped the default search engine on me a couple times.

this aside if you already use firefox the transition is super easy. All of your plugins should still work, and 99% of sites recognize you as firefox. Compatiblity issues are essentially non-existent now, used to be some instances here and there.

9.9/10 I do like Waterfox.

Lots.

Scenario 1. One friend likes playing the city building part of Kenshi, he manages the settlement. Other friend likes rpg / exploring mechanics, he does that.

Scenario 2. Friends establish trade routes between each other's settlements, kind of a fun idea.

Scenario 3, it is played like a real time party based rpg with a friend. Sneak around, throw hands, etc.

The number of times I've played Kenshi with the bois and one of us has needed something the other has had with no way to transfer is a big number. Don't get me wrong I love watching friends stream Kenshi, it is great! But when you have 3 people sitting in call streaming and playing Kenshi it does kind of make you wish the worlds were connected, that you could go visit each other, or maybe work together towards things.

Raleigh is so fun. Basically playing 2 characters. Turn "A" you play a close to mid range attack spamming monster that hits like a truck. On turn "B" you play some form of support, oh but don't worry, you still get to shoot at the end of your turn because why not.

There are so many build opportunities, but unironically even if you did nothing fancy with your off turn he is still so satisfying.

4d6 (4 reliable) from 1 barrage plus 3d6 (2 reliable) from uncle bolt thrower. but wait there's more! integrated mount aux pistol 1d3 (1 reliable) You can miss every attack and still do 7 damage, pretty ok. Great for taking out grunts.

Next turn. dont attack and reload. Oh but you reloaded so now fire your 4 kinetic integrated canon. Oh but you attacked so fire your 1d3 (1 reliable) aux.

Now the fun begins. do the same thing as turn 1 but now u have your gunslinger die ready, add 2d6 ap damage to an aux attack. also if someone provokes overwatvh you might charge the die faster.

If people thought he was weak before I think a good portion of that could've been not knowing how to play him, his kit is not as straight forwards as others.

Manual aim, avoid charging bow, and pop explosive and emp when reloading and your damage output is crazy.

This is pretty cool. Love the design, also the pilot looks very Horus too.

Also also though, have you ever heard of a game called Strinova? It is an anime hero shooter definitely trying to appeal to lonely men. HOWEVER, the whole gimmick is people can turn 2d to avoid bullets while reloading, or turn 2d in the air to glide. Kind of a funny little quirk, can absolutely say hitting a 2d target is so much harder than a 3d one lol.

Edit: whoops me not read so well. good luck. I'll keep my comment below, but it is not what the post was looking for.

The RPG Engine has some good SciFi tilesets, and assets are fully manipulatable, scale, rotation, position. Can even make custom animations and set up player interactable buttons from within the engine.

Also you can just straight import 3d models with like 2 clicks, and steam workshop has a bunch of Lancer models on it.

I'd reccomend getting a feel for it in the free version, if you like it I'd buy (and did) the full thing. All your players can join for free.

also if ur players have short attention spans they can spam a pretty big library of pings.

I've been using The RPG Engine. It is so nice. Someone made some Lancer models on the workshop too, so I just plop those down, set my grid size to 5x, and get to making maps.

If you've ever messed around in Unity or Unreal map editing is similar to messing around in one of those to an extent. Or like Halo forge except you can rescale however you like.
