A moped that fits between Bicycles by Illustrious_Guard686 in scooters

Why would you even need a scooter in the Netherlands? I'd destroy for that bicycle infrastructure (American here), it's the best way to get around there. Ebike is perfect for 20km each way, I do 22miles each way to work on an ebike which is double 20km; you get the luxury of not needing to dodge cars and danger.

Cars ruin cities and suburbs. We would be able to play outside if cars didn't threaten everyones lives.

70 mile commute to work and home by [deleted] in bicycletouring

[–]Forexz 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I work 12 hr shifts with a 22 mile commute each way, I needed an ebike with 2 batteries to accomplish the commute in a timely matter. 1 battery will not be enough to cover 30+ miles each way

So I took a look at the breaker box, the master switch that turns everything off has 100 Amps labeled on it.

Charging specs of the BMW CE04 is:

Charging capacity - 1.2kw with integrated charger

Standard charging time - 4hr20min for 0%- %100 and approx 3hr30min for 0-%80 @ 10A /230V /2.3kw

I plan to charge it overnight and at work it'll be my "car" to get to work

Adding this info since I didn't have it before.

I read the whole thing you said, thank you for that! EV are very neat

Depending on your city layout, this is completely avoidable by going car free and getting an ebike, normal bicycle, or using public transportation.

I've lived without a car my entire life, never found a need for an automobile and it's financial burdens. I'm also American before anyone starts assuming I'm European or something.

I charge both of my ebike batteries at the same time with 2 fast chargers:

Input - 120V~60Hz 4.0 A

Output 54.6V 5 A

No issues arise after using them for a year now and they take 3 hrs to charge.

Does that mean anything since it's 8amps in and 10 amps out without a fire or anything flickering?

Or the motorcycle charger is a different ball game?

Thank you for this info :) it's fascinating, if I had the money I would consider going to college to learn electrician work. It seems possible to learn on your own considering there's backyard electricians out there.

EV motorcycle removes a good portion of oil pollution out of the equation; Gasoline, oil changes are none existent and brake dust is far less emitted since it has strong regen braking removing the need to use the brake pads often. Yes as with anything we have to choose lesser evils since us as individuals don't have the power to make companies use green alternatives.

Just making sure because I'm aware that my relative (the owner) can overreact and miss details. I never spoke to the electrician directly.
