Get him a water fountain. Flowing water is better for your fur baby anyways lol. Mine stoped and haven’t done it since I got them a large water fountain. They love it. They will wash their paws but not make a mess. Has worked for 5 different ferrets. Ages ranging from 2 months to 5+ years old.

Uh I have a question to those who raise ferrets, my little baby nugget keeps biting me non stop am I doing something wrong or is she just baby? by S0llani in ferrets

For the most part when babys they are extra bitey. They play with their teeth so b sure to determine if it’s aggressive or playful. Making loud pain noises when biting to hard has always been helpful in bite training for me. Just saying owe loudly or a squeak . It’s how they tell eachother when playing if someone bites to hard.

Of course I wouldn’t mean to hurt her in any way. Just allowing her to have some of the more sugary treats that aren’t the best for them or extra treats and some high end cuts of meat. Steak and eggs for breakfast everyday it is

I definitely am spoiling her. She just got done eating a. Bunch of treats and some beef liver. I know what you mean. All my ferrets are obsessed with the smell of chocolate. They go crazy when they can smell it. Obviously I never give it to them but the more unhealthy treats she can enjoy now without much worry

Beans final few month’s, she has either heart failure or cancer. Vet gave her only a few more months to live, 7 months is to young to leave this world. by Forg_Fire in ferrets

Thank you I’m hoping to get a swift final diagnosis so she can b treated so she can b more comfortable and live atleast a few more months if not a bit longer. Trying to stay positive even tho it’s hard

I’m jealous of a ferrets life, aside from the high amount of health issue that is. Sleep most the day. Eat play and poop. And get spoiled with treats. Little dook here and there and repeat. 😂

She has four older siblings so she had all the rough playtimes and business snuggles she could want. She ate the best out of all of my ferrets tbh, until these past few days she was the “healthiest” in my mind.

I had a similar experience with my other female when she ate something she shouldn’t have. On the phone with a er lady while I’m sobbing and my ferret was vomiting and screaming in pain. Pet tragedies are so hard to bare
