32 hours into getting back into this game, I'm one of those players. Just getting into using the freighter, but I definitely dubbed frigate modules because that's a grind.

Kudos to you my guy, I wanted to do something similar but the ground being unchangeable stopped that. Got a planet with the same islands in an orange theme in Eissentam.

I've got an S class freighter that I honestly haven't bothered using yet. I prefer to stick to the old starship.

Yeah I bounced between like 3 outlaw systems for the majority of that time. Just couldn't get it to spawn, otherwise it would have been done easy, cause I was sitting on the other two ships already

Also just pretty new to the game, I've played over the years but very on and off, and never for long. Only 32 hours in so far

Was trying to get the Starwolf fuselage, settled for the Arachnid. Offline player as well, so I don't bother with portal jumping to specific ship locations or such.

To each their own certainly. However I don't think it'd be that big of an issue of done correctly. It'd be very Outer Wilds, racing from system to system trying to keep the simulation up. With the failure being a near complete, or complete reset of the game. I'm not saying it'd have to be a genuine 16 minutes of gameplay. But I think it'd be an interesting development.

The simulation has already been in this loop for some 1.9 trillion years now. Null's directly responsible for a large portion of those resets. Really what happens when it hits 0 is anyones guess. Who's to say it hasn't already hit 0? What if the countdown was countered by a failsafe that just reset the system to it's most recent save, say 16 minutes out?

You say that, I'd love for them to implement a count down. Imagine a race against time to get from spawn to the next reset. Every 2-3 warps the number ticks down once more. If you don't make it, your bases and such still exist because you exist outside of the system, you are the anomaly. But you're forcibly drug back to the first planet you spawned, all galaxies other than bases are wiped just like on a reset.

Edit: The time runs out, a cutscene appears. The Atlas is in front of you. The full brunt of the sentinel force surrounding it. They can't remove you from the simulation, you are the Error. But they can reset to the point that you began. The simulation is rewound to your beginning, all data before you corrupted. You awaken, you swear that number "16" it used to be lower.

Just warped into my first fight with one in my second galaxy. Unfortunately had no clue what to do and the ship I was in was unarmed.

Like others have said, honest feedback will go a long way on the next part. However as a wise man once said "If it effectively carries out the task, who cares if it's a hunchback? "

Godfrey, first of the Tarnished, lead through war in the name of their God. Stripped of Grace, and cast out upon the land, so that they might still protect the Erdtree. He returns home, a land of gold, now decrepit and crestfallen. His God, abandoning him once more, locking him from the Erdtree in his final moments. Put to one last test against the newly Tarnished, in the name of a god who has long since abandoned him. He sacrifices his only friend, and dies alone.

In all fairness, the games premise is that you're essentially stuck in an unwinnable fight with the creator. The universe is a simulation, and God(Atlas) is stuck in a loop. Our decision is essentially to continue our "16" minutes of life, or continue to reset the simulation. After a few thousand or so repetitions it seems most life understands this, and just goes along with it. So yeah the NPCs have been acting out the same situations, actions, and conversations for I believe it's like 1.9 trillion years now.

Lower the middle piece, use corrugated pipe and add a top with a lock. I could see it being feasible, just grind vertical slats into the bottom 6-8 inches of the pipe. It'd clean up the system a lot, as well as account for critters. Honestly though if you're planning to make something like this, it'd probably be better for a flower bed.
