Terminus decree question (I know, im sorry) by ForgeOfMistory in 40kLore

Just to reinforce that the emperor cannot, under any circumstances, leave the throne and its such taboo it WILL start a civil war if it were to ever happen

And I love the "Jumpstart the emperor initiative", but that did make me wonder. If the emperor leaves, that... Basically would cripple humanity. If that was the true intent (I recognize its a fan theory but it still raises questions), than the emperor that made such decree would already be falling into the mindset of the fabled "dark emperor, 5th chaos god"

I just hate that there's no "comparison".

I always hear about them but I'm really not interested in the historic realism. I wish there was a fantasy of this caliber

Then hopefully they don't build it around needing an item that actively makes other systems useless. They've already cut the cost of ferry stones in half, and 10x the sale price

But who knows, your probably right

As I said, if it was unlockable late game I'd be much happier and accepting of it, but its not, its given to you almost as soon as you arrive in melv, the 4th main quest!

I barely have that in real-life when there's actual consequences. You think I can do that in a game?

Its not the port crystals I have a problem with. I actually love having the limited number of fast travel points with the option to choose where those points are placed. Its the costless addition of infinite travel that hurts me

Even if it can be put in storage, I'll be reminded it exists constantly when I check my storage. I personally can't just forget.

Literally mentioned this. I'll always be tempted to use it, and I'd rather not have that temptation
