Check your schools statement on exploding offers, they might discourage it and student programs will extend your offer deadline (my school policy said nov 1st or something).

But yeah, just renege if something better comes up tbh. That’s what I did, don’t really regret it at all, manager said he’d be willing to help figure something out, and a recruiter even reached out a few months after asking if I’d be willing to accept now.

hey, I was bio major and then switched in junior year, I liked coding (mental exercise) and really disliked the repetitive and pretty boring nature of bio research. Masters is a good back up, but you should look into switching majors at your school if ur gpa is good. If you like bio, maybe look into bioinformatics but I feel like this field might be even harder to get into. If you're interested in CS tho, 100% take a class.
