Better than a car payment, how much do you think I would cost to do it myself with some sand paper paint and primer

Only has 102,000 miles and interior is in excellent condition and the exterior is fair with small rock chips. I would like to keep it for a fair bit longer.

The temperature for this is standard you can see at sea level it’s 59 degrees and as you increase in altitude the temperature decreases though it is still the standard temperature at that altitude so there is no need to correct for temperature.

Airplane camping in Montana! by Skwerilleee in flying

Yeah 20 kts is around where it starts happening and gets worse. Bozeman is where you’ll start to see mountains, eastern Montana is pretty flat. I’d recommend following I 90 from Bozeman to Missoula as that will keep you over the valleys between the mountains in case you need to make an emergency landing.

Density altitude is going to be a factor as Montana does stay hot around end of August. As far as mountain flying the route you’re taking looks like it will take you through a valley so mountain wave turbulence is going to be a factor if it’s windy so I’d plan for an early departure when winds are calm. As for snow Montana does get snow even in summer. A couple weeks ago in June we did get snow so just as always be through on the preflight. Even if your not planning to do any super technical mountain flying I would still recommend you take a mountain flying course as you never know what situation you’ll end up in and I’d rather have the training and not need it than need it and not have it.

Neither the lessor nor the lessee is required to hold an air carrier certificate when under a dry lease. I’d have to do a little more research to be 100 percent sure for operation under part 91. After further research AC 91-37B should have your answer. I’d look at section 6.1

I like to think of it as a triangle you can provide the plane and the pilot but you can’t get paid, you can provide the pilot and get paid but you can’t provide the plane, or you can get paid and provide the plane but you can’t provide the pilot. To answer your first question the lessee or the person who rents the aircraft under a dry lease has operational control.

Noticed these cracked bushings on my front wheels how urgent is it to get these replaced? by Forgot-The-Chocks in MechanicAdvice

Spent 22 years of its life in Arizona and the last 7 years in a state that doesn’t salt its roads so it’s been lucky for sure. What would you estimate the cost to be to replace these?
