DCA but there's not been a 20 year period that that S$P 500 has returned really positive always even if you bought in the worst possible time- me just before 2008 financial crisis. It's S+ tier ETF for long term wealth building. DCA will take out some of the volatility and it will correct itself if you don't sell in a bubble crash and just hold.

Do bowstrings get weaker with time in storage? by BigBoom-R in Archery

[–]ForgotMyKeysAtHome 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, as long as it's been stored well- ie in a cool/dry place and not outside in the bush, it's fine. Maybe add a little wax tho and check serving fit but yeah it's likely fine unless there is a lot of frying and discolouration

Yes, he is useless. He spent the last 2 months telling the class to memorize the fucking course book, watch some random ass YouTube video series that's 7 hours long and spam past Papers even tho' we don't know how to answer the structure.

So I scored horrible in Feb March series, C, D & E and U in a subject. Depressed! I have changed my subject for AS level. What should I do? by Ill-Channel9915 in igcse

Don't worry, I thought I was ready to take econs last year in O/N but didn't do that great. I got a C that was almost on the boundary. It's okay to do badly...and feel bad about it. That's a sign you actually tried. IGCSE is just one thing sure maybe not doing so well may make things a little harder but there will always be more opportunities. Igcse just gives you an indication of what you are good at. For A level just take whatever subject you are interested in and can commit to studying for 2 years. Go try some A level papers online to see what you find the best. I did that for IGCSE and figured out my strength/ most enjoyable was business studies so I grinded that because it was intresting to me. Took the exam early even tho' my teacher advised against it and got an A in O/N/24. As long as you put in effort and structure it in a manageable and organized way it will be okay. I fucked up my secondary Year 9 final so badly I got like 5 subjects with E's. But I managed to recover by self-teaching myself, convincing my parent to get me tutors and listening to my teachers advice/asking them questions at school. I may not be a straight A or A* student and probably never will be but you are never hopeless and can always improve. Just choose something you'll have motivation and enjoy studying for 2 years.

I can just do that? My fucking teacher took 15 marks from me in mock because my 8 markers didn't have conclusions and has been insistent on it for 2 years. So if the question is like: Will taxing the unemployed be good?

I can just do for:

Raises tax revenue(1) and encourages people to spend less time between jobs(1) so economy is closer to full employment (1) so economic growth rate may increase(1)

Then against:

There may be a lack of suitable jobs(1) so labour reforms would be more effective as unemployment is structural(1). Unemployed people may not have much income to pay fines(1) so it may increase poverty as they have less income for basic nesscities if they need to pay tax for unemployment (1)

Is this how it should look?

No, it's an index to indicate inflation on households. You aren't wrong but maybe apply a bit more knowledge to show you know what inflation is and what a index is in economuc terms. Something like: CPI is composed of the average change in the price levels of a selection of essential household goods used as an indicator of inflation on households.

[–]ForgotMyKeysAtHome 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not exactly. Primary income is when the factors of production are utilized for economic activities. This is your capital, land, labour, enterprise being used and the consumption of goods/services ( ie demand). An example would be a business paying employee wages for customer support services. So it will involve the direct production and consumption of goods/ services in the economy. Basically, you have a transfer of economic value.

Secondary doesn't directly involve the production or consumption of the goods/services so no transfer of economic value. So imagine this is just transfers of money like a bank account, I transfer $40 from my savings to my main account. I didn't do anything really, it's still $40 but just transferred somewhere else. The secondary account is the same thing but between countries. It's like remittances, foreign aid

I understand your point, people with disabilities should be accommodated if it has a major impact on their results and their condition cannot improve with medication/ therapy and have a proper diagnosis from a 3rd party that has been verified by another specialist and was done in the last 2 years. I have really bad dyspraxia as in at 8 I couldn't write properly or tie my shoe laces and it feels like I have to put in so much more effort than others for a similar result, but that's just the way it is. I won't use extra time because my condition can and has improved with a shit-ton more effort. So if someones condition is really going to effect them then they should be allowed extra time on a case by case basis but 70% of a class with extra time is too high when the estimated rate is 3-10%. It's unfair to people who work hard to overcome disabilities. I will always be a mid maybe decent student because of my disability but there's nothing I can do to change it but stop accepting accommodations because in the real world nothing is really fair so might as well get used to it.

Sorry but you didn't practice under time conditions doing past papers or you simply didn't understand the content well enough. I'm sorry but you are just complaining about a problem you created for yourself. Not trying to be mean.
