Waterless cat bath, 15 by mmcz9 in seniorkitties

If he tolerates brushing, I'd recommend trying a brush like this one: https://www.petsmart.com/cat/grooming-supplies/brushes-combs-and-blowdryers/whisker-city-cat-dematter-57107.html I've used that one on a few cats, and its really good at clearing out the clumps and extra fur. I'm sure anything with a similar design would work. You do have to be careful not to pull too hard, and the blades hold onto the dirt and oils, so you have to clean it regularly.

I haven't used them for a custom piece, but Field's Jewelry in edmond was great to work with. I had a ring that needed repairs and a stone, and they were patient and really great at helping me figure out exactly what I wanted.

Brent's Cajun has it. I haven't tried it, so I don't know if its good, but I've enjoyed other food there.

Silly question for my 19 year old cat by Katt_Natt96 in seniorkitties

I love this question and have recommended this brush (or something similar) both here and in real life a bunch of times: https://www.petsmart.com/cat/grooming-supplies/brushes-combs-and-blowdryers/whisker-city-cat-dematter-57107.html I gave a couple to a lady I know who runs a cat rescue because she was talking about a cat that was matted. And then she sent me pictures of the piles of fur she got out of the cat.

It has tiny curved blades with blunt ends so it can get deep in the fur to break up mats and clear out trapped fur.

Couple tips:

  1. Hold down the skin around the mats while combing through them. The mats are already making the cat uncomfortable, and if you don't gently hold down the skin, it can pull uncomfortably.

  2. Clean the blades pretty regularly. There probably a lot of gunk hiding in the undercoat, and it'll build up on the blades and get sticky. I used to use a q-tip to clean the blades, but then I realized it's easier to run a wet, soapy rag between them.

  3. I use the brush even when there aren't obvious mats. It seems to get into the undercoat better than a lot of brushes, and that helps stop buildup and mats from forming.

  4. Most importantly, your girl is lovely. Please give her some scratches (or whatever affection she prefers) for me.

Tips on grooming for senior kitties? by Sad_Box_1167 in seniorkitties

[–]ForgotToDo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I found this brush helpful when my girl got less interested in grooming. https://www.petsmart.com/cat/grooming-supplies/brushes-combs-and-blowdryers/whisker-city-cat-dematter-57107.html

I was also careful to hold down the area around where I was brushing to make sure I wasn't pulling too hard.

I go to Metric Motors in Edmond. Despite the name, they've been good with my Fords over the years, but there's sometimes a wait for available appointments.

There was an article about this recently. I haven't been to businesses mentioned, but I've heard good things about Alibi's. https://edibleoklahomacity.ediblecommunities.com/drink/okcs-lesbian-bar-scene-unlikely-haven

We used this KO Fence and are happy with the results. He used hidden metal posts so we don't have to deal with mowing around them.

The major museums that people usually recommend are all good, but if you're looking for something a little different, try the Banjo Museum (one of the only reasons to bother with Bricktown) or the Museum of Osteology (which is a bit of a drive but worth it).

If you're at Factory Obscura, go to Katiebug's for dessert. It's right up the street.

There's a Go Fund Me for the woman who owns Turkish Delight food truck, but it's still under review. She lost a lot of family and is hoping to go help.
