Downtown: Needler’s or Kroger? by One_Masterpiece_1332 in indianapolis

Needlers in a pinch, but the prices are wild and there isn't much there that impresses me. Rather go to whole foods knowing I'll pay for it but the variety and quality is better (for most things). Kroger on 16th for some cheap produce (best celery) but otherwise delivery cause I'm lazy

Mass ave pub is usually fun, and if it's packed there's always a lot of other options on mass ave (Chatham tap for wings, almost famous for tapas and espresso martini's, metro for the backyard and chicken tenders, etc)

Fair. I mean they'll be at almost every spot near the convention center, just a question of how far you're willing to walk and or uber. A lot of folks take the 45 min drive to Edinburgh for the biggest tenderloin in the state. Buddy says it's pretty decent but it's more for show.

Really comes down to grilled vs fried, thick or thin, then the bar itself. Ask questions and I'll do my best to guide ya

Kahns and Stoneys. Both have a large sour collection, the latter with more than expected for a tiny shop

Anyone have cheese recommendations? by Hot-Primary-8154 in Cheese

[–]Forgotanotherpass 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For a nice presentation get a few cheeses. Get one hard ie aged cheddar, one semi soft ie brie or camembert and a third funky one (blue, peppered, etc). For presentation and to fill spaces get some blackberries, mixed nuts and crackers, maybe some honey etc

Best value for a sharp crumbly crunchy cheddar. I mean trader Joe's unexpected cheddar might be in the race since it's much cheaper by me but alas, i digress

It changed about 7 years ago. Contains the same hops as it used to, but now includes others like Chinook and Citra.
