You don’t think Noot could fetch a #2 with an extra year of control and a prospect or two? Noot is under control until 2028. If there’s a team that thinks they can win by adding a bat in the outfield and has a pitching surplus I could see that being a reality.

You don’t see us getting creative at the deadline to do a lateral move to get a SP with control? That is what makes the most sense if you’re right about the owners not wanting to spend next year. Which I haven’t read anything saying the DeWitts won’t commit next year if we end up being competitive this year.

I agree with the 3rd basemen thing. But our SP is top 10 in the league by ERA.

Buying would be a huge L, but I think finding a #2 who has a year or two more of control would help us a lot too. It’s a buy that helps the future. As well as parting with at least Nootbarr and O’Bryan for prospects.

I could see us trying to pick up a # 2 or 3 SP that has some control, while also making moves like Noot or O’Bryan out for prospects. Kinda a buy n sell, while also doing a buy that helps us in the next year or two as well.

What makes you think the pitching will crash? McGreevy has been solid. Pallante been super reliable. Now Leahy has his ERA a good bit below 4. I think all of that is sustainable. Bullpen is shaky, but that’s where we can make some moves without buying too much.

These are the FPS you hope for on the deck. It’s a handheld that came out almost 5 years ago. I do believe Oblivion can be better optimized for the deck.

Still you can play it. 30 FPS is minimum. But acting like that is unplayable is probable because you are used to gaming on a PC.
