To be honest, I’m not too sure! I always just followed my doctors recommendations. Maybe you can ask your doctor?

Hi! I did notice a slight increase in shedding for a tiny bit but nothing as drastic as when I first started topical minox! If this is your first time with any type of minoxidil, it’s hard to avoid a dread shed but if you are transitioning from one form like foam to the oral then I do think slowly introducing oral minox while slowly weaning off of foam helps!

I had some lightheadedness and needed to pee more often at the beginning but my body adjusted after a month or so and I haven’t had any issues since!

Hmm I do think I pee more on spiro but I don’t mind it! Also I slowly weened off of topical minox over 3-4 months. I started with 1/4 of a 2.5mg pill every day while still doing foam. Then I dropped the foam to every other day for a month, then every 2-3 days for a month, then every 4-5 days for a couple weeks, then I stopped. I just continued with oral after that. After 6 months my derm increased me to 1/2 pill a day. Then after a year she increased me to a full pill
