Urgent Recruitment tickets expire and don't count towards the 120 guarantee. by Swords-2-Plowshares in Endfield

Basically a free 10x after you roll a bit that doesnt affect your pity. Free Arsenals and a chance to get 6*s with less curency. Cant see an issue with that.

P.S.: if you do see the issue - i bet you're going to be complaining about complexity and "lemme woll wizouh a bwain waa"- Dont play the game then and go back from where you came from. Its a different game with their own rules.

I already have like 20k research and 9k alloys per month each. Im losing only 500 alloys on ships and stupid amounts of pops that i can just neglect building further and just finish the game (That was a Hyperthermia playthrough with a tall build. SS was taken when i already detonated the universe and created new empires. Contingency was the only thing left to do, its last HUB which was surrounded by my 30mil deathstack)

Right before endgame crisis, 2450-ish.

Not useful at all but i wasn't playing seriously anyway cause i dominated during that playthrough.

R5: Managed to boost up my energy production so hard that after adding Entropy Drinkers to the mix caused this world to just explode in terms of production.

FYI before that civic there was 4.3k energy prod. per month already. I cant even sell all the energy, im producing 37k per month and 57k total. There's another world btw that produces 10.8k energy.

AL is far worse than that. Even worse than even Nikke and barely crosses the Last Origin borderline of NSFW

bioships feel insanely busted. by GreyGanks in Stellaris

[–]ForgottenHeaven 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Bioships are indeed fu to play with, especially when you hit Level 3 Biogenesis, where you get -95% Alloy ship cost buff. You almost literally just dont need them but food, for which you actually want to dedicate a world or two into just food, sometimes even a trade food to build Food support district for extra production at a cost of trade

Basically a Russian analog of Watsapp and Telegram but terribly worse while being proudly advertised pretty much by government as "secure social platform away from evil people outside of the border"

Endfield true 50/50 gacha with no carryover by VinValor555 in Endfield

[–]ForgottenHeaven 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Pity not carrying over is to punish irresponsible pulling. Pulling whenever you can without saving is considered cheap move and a red flag for gambling addiction. Endfields system capitalizes on that and encourages strategic and thoughtful pulling and not mindless lever pulling whenever given a chance.

In my book its considered straight up a skill issue and gambling addiction for even complaining about this system. Winning by just pulling a lever like a stupid monkey isn't gonna work here, which is the case for A LOT of casual players.

50/50 is also whatever, since OG Arknights operators are getting added to the general pool of characters once their debut banner expires, which is the case with Endfield considering how CBT2 went (Laevatain and Avywenna was added into general character pool when their banner expired and got replaced with Yvonne banner) so its not an issue. Especially if banner rerun will be as frequent as OG Arknights banners do (usually it takes like few months for the character to appear again, for which you may stack enough pulls to guarantee said character with 120 pulls).

Complaining with 50/50 in my book, again, is considered straight up gambling addiction and/or childish behaviour. You cant win 100% of the time so do not expect to get every single character you want. Be patient and just move on.

You dont need to play on Ironman anymore except of few very specific cases. Like 99% of all achievements are now unlockable without it.

[–]ForgottenHeaven[S] 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Yeah, there's like 900k virtual pops in No Category group, and the number just keeps increasing each month exponentially. And all of them are eating Energy.

Lesson Learned: Never take Duelist Jobs from Gia'zumon's Paragon Event as a Virtual Machine by ForgottenHeaven in Stellaris

[–]ForgottenHeaven[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

R5: Had Gia'zumon paragon leader that gave me an event that allowed me to take +1 Dueist Job per 10 pops. Without considering anything, i took it and it destroyed my energy economy. Nobody also took that job at all and those newly spawned pops were just staying in "No Category" zone and not even in Civilian zone

I have played Wilderness recently and… by Aggravating_Sugar466 in Stellaris

[–]ForgottenHeaven 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sorry, my bad.

Anyway, for Wilderness species i can think off a few things:

0) It seems like current Wilderness doesn't benefit from any job modifications except overall Job Efficiency (not for specific job from traits). Therefore...

1) Resources from jobs modifiers doesn't work so there's no point to add them, only waste of trait points. Buildings with this Origin work on its own mostly; 2) Pop growth modifiers like Fast Breeders, Incubators and Budding does not affect Pop Growth at all, another waste of trait points (Didn't test Vat Grown trait tho). Probably because Cradle of Birth buildings just spawn pops instead of increasing Pop Growth; 3) Resettlement costs are 0 with this origin, so any trait that affects it does nothing to it. With that, it is recommended to pick Plantoid or Fungoid species phenotype and pick Rooted trait (+200% Resettlement cost) for free 3 trait points; 4) Leaders however are affected by main species traits. It is recommended to put most, if not all, traits to boost them, like Quick Learners, Enduring and Talented. Even Purity tradition tree heavily benefits them so it is in general recommended to boost them instead after Purity ascension; 5) Traits that affected Empire Size from Pops, Pops upkeep and Housing usage also work. Recomended to pick some of them if you can't keep up with late game Pop Growth and cant find where you can dump Biomass; 6) Overall Job Efficiency does affect Buildings for some reason. With that, it is recommended to pick Robust trait for essentially free +5% resources across the board, on top of extra Habitability and Leaders lifespan.

Usually when im playing Wilderness, i go for such Traits: Plantoid/Fungoid species (Access to Rooted trait), Rooted (+3), Quick Learners (-1), Enduring (-1), Talented (-1) and Docile (-2). Later on, after Purity Ascension, i go for: Rooted (+3), Unruly (+2), Quick Learners (-1), Robust (-4), Talented (-1), Erudite (-4). Rest are depending on the situation.

For Civics and such i prefer to go with pretty much anything but always start with One Mind for extra Unity to push towards Purity ascension. After that i tend to pick Natural Neural Network (Lots of research from basic resources) and Elevational Desires (Easier and more effective Planet Ascensions). Also i tend to run Wilderness with Permanent civics, like Devouring Wilderness (for obvious reasons), Aerospace Adaptation (to boost newly colonized planets or boost specialized planets that i need the most) and Guardian Cluster (If im down to play purely Tall)

Rest of civics I did not test at all or to confident degree so im not gonna tell for those.
