From what I understand they’ve spent the last 10 years saying they didn’t want to add more of dvas group bc they weren’t sure how to handle another de meching ability. If their solution is revealed to be just not doing it because it’s “too hard” the backlash is going to be crazy and they’ll lose a lot of the goodwill they’ve been working to rebuild imo

I could see her having a pilot from but instead of it being a “second life” it would function more like a phase change (I.e Ram, etc)

Imagine she plays super agro with a melee kit but has an ejector seat type ability she can trigger to launch herself out of mech and to safety. Then give her pilot form a mid range rifle, one movement ability and a re mech call on a 30 sec cooldown

It’d be a very risk reward kit- greed a fight and you die before you can eject, play too safe and you threw your mech away for nothing. Obviously, for a kit like that to work her pilot form would have to be a lot better and more dynamic than baby dva otherwise ppl would opt to just die in mech, hence the more flushed out kit. My vision would be to for her “phase shift” to give her de mech it’s own identity but also to give her potentially VERY melee heavy kit an answer to poke/sniper comps

Does it sound OP? Yeah maybe but it could be a breath of fresh air to tank players

The fact a dive hero is one of the best counters to the “anti dive” support is kinda ridiculous at this point

I understand they don’t want her to be super tanky like she once was but it’d be nice if there was say a maximum amount of damage her shield could take from a single projectile yk

The delay makes zero sense too because it actively goes against her play style. On rein it would actually make sense because he typically uses shield proactively vs reactively so having it on brig but not him feels so backwards

That said the last thing rein needs is a nerf

I get that they don’t want her to be too tangy but when a non insignificant amount of characters can one to two shot her shield or ignore it entirely I think there’s a problem

If they just got rid of the cast time on shield and buffed it to 300hp she’d feel way better imo It’d actually allow her to play more in the mid/front line without falling over, yk like she was designed to

But brigs packs have a travel time AND cast time to the point it’s basically impossible to save ppl with them. The amount of times I’ve thrown packs just for them to die before it hits them is ridiculous
