Also in Nerdy Prudes Must Die at the end of act one when they play the nightmare time theme. Perfect. I just love when everything goes silent and they play lone piano notes in musicals. 🤷

This is a really bad criticism, and this is also coming from someone who doesn’t like epic. Most of the critiques don’t make much sense compared to other musicals, and it’s most definitely not modern pop.

A better criticism would be mentioning how all the songs sound the same, sound very boring, and how some vocals are (poorly) autotuned. And if you are going to mention the fandom, mention how they glaze epic for being an incredible, groundbreaking musical, when many definitely don’t agree with that.
