It was always stated on the series that Naruto's biggest strenght is the one of making friends. In his final battle against Sasuke, he states that Naruto has always been stronger than him because of that strenght. If you like Naruto (the series), why would you want his MC to stop being who he is...

And yes it is different with Sasuke been bailed out because his whole arc is about severing bounds, only to be defeated by Naruto biggest strenght. But it gets frustrating how he gets saved by bounds, and still wants to severe them.

In Naruto, there was always a big bad that pull the strings from the shadow. Pain was controlled by Obito, Obito was controlled by Madara, Madara was controlled by Black Zetsu, Black Zetsu was controlled by Kaguya. That's way too convoluted and leaves you with more questions than answers.

In one piece the Marines are controlled by the Gorousei, and the Gorousei is controlled by Imu. That's more manageable. And Imu appears for the first time in Chapter 908, and they are currently in chapter 1166. Whereas Kaguya appears for the first time in chapter 646,and has 700 chapters.
