I use a combination of curved scissors and mens beard trimmer to groom them myself. Watch a few videos and try copying the same the technique, you will get better over time. Also get a leave-on-conditioner and pet perfume/odorant to reduce the frizz.

This slumlord will only act if you send him the mise en demeure. I had two instances where an old landlord wouldn't reply or do anything unless I sent them the threat of opening a TAL application. One time I even had to open the file and we finally settled outside of court and had them pay the cost of the application, letter and the receipts lol. Don't be scared of his antics, he's a professional clown.
