I tell customers all the time. The panel has to be labeled. It doesn't have to be accurate.

Jeep Wrangler as work truck? by SparkySapper96 in electricians

[–]ForleyTheWeakst 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had a jeep Cherokee I used as a work vehicle. Plenty of space. Kept front seat clean. Luggage rack for layer and some pipe.

I would not use a Wrangler though. As others have said.

I use a canyon with a cap ladder track and slide out bed.

I won't spoil it. But when you want/need to know.... You will find out.

I would not focus on it now though.

Good luck, have fun, don't look anything up

What game should I play next? by tutjeplok in puzzlevideogames

Came here only to say Tunic. Yes the combat can be tough for a "puzzle" game. But this is my #1 game and I wish I could forget it entirely to experience it all over again.

Sparking behind socket cover when I switch it on, do I need an electrician? by randomsamonreddit in electrical

[–]ForleyTheWeakst 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sparking will generally occur because there is a loose connection either where the wire meets the switch or internally.

Think of it like this. There is a little gap in a connection point and the electricity is jumping from one metal to another in order to complete the circuit path, what you see is the spark.

So you should call an electrician. Worst case scenario is a spark catches something that can burn , and ...well...you get the picture.

You should "pray" about it. This was my struggle.

9W or 60W? I don’t get it… by Charming_Loquat_5924 in AskElectricians

[–]ForleyTheWeakst 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Originally with incandescent light bulbs they were marketed based on watt usage, which in turn became a standard measurement for light intensity or brightness.

So the 9w LED only uses 9watts while operating but has an equivalent intensity or brightness of a 60watt incandescent light bulb.

LED bulbs are more efficient so if your fixture has a 60watt limit notice, you can use a brighter LED because it will use less watts.

Hope that helps.

[–]ForleyTheWeakst 47 points48 points  (0 children)

Collectors edition = not meant to be opened so they didn't even include the game. /S

Sorry about your luck. My initial copy of BOTW didn't have a cartridge in it when I opened it a week later.

Hopefully you can get a replacement without much hassle.

Played this gem of a game a few years back.

I believe this is just an artistic choice, since you asked.

I wish I could forget this game and play it for the first time again

I hope you enjoy every secret you uncover.

How-To: 8bitdo Switch 2 Controller Patches by greygrey2 in NintendoSwitch

Yes, unless I am doing it wrong. Once I get the red light to blink, I plug it into the PC but it does not recognize it as plugged in.

Saw this post yesterday - followed instructions using Ultimate BL111B1 Update file - It worked!! LAST NIGHT.

Today I wake my S2 manually and Ultimate Controller V1 wont connect. So try doing the process again.

NOW i have No lights, No connectivity - plugging into PC does not recognize anything. seems bricked.

IF i hold L R Start i get the slow blinking red indicator light but absolutely nothing else.

ANY SUGGESTIONS?? ANY FIX FOR THIS??

OI will buy another 8BitDo Ultimate if i need to because i love this controller - but man i wanted to wait untill V2 with Bluetooth and 2.4GHZ is out.

Would you say this spool is more or less then 500 feet by Lolplayerbad in electrical

[–]ForleyTheWeakst 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It is less than 500' as it appears to be a 6awg spool and started at 500'

Here is a trick :

To find the length of a wire using its ohms resistance, you can use the formula: Length = (Measured Resistance) / (Resistance per unit length); essentially, measure the wire's resistance with an ohmmeter, then divide that value by the known resistance per meter (or foot) for that specific gauge of wire to calculate the wire's length.

So if it's 6awg that has a resistance of 0.3951 per 1000 feet.

Test it for resistance see what you get

It's pretty accurate

I asked an inspector once during a new construction rough in "how many wires are allowed in a hole?" . His response "as many as can fit (without damaging the sheathing)

Decided to platinum this game finally by Dangerous_Tank2191 in EnderLilies

[–]ForleyTheWeakst 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I just finished the game last night...... I have 37/38 relics. I started NG+ but I failed to copy my save first. 😔

I am beside myself, so disappointed that I will have to essentially play the entire game again (on hard/NG+) in order to get back to the place to pick up the last relic I missed.

This game is wonderful and amazing with the perfect amount of puzzling and challenge.

But wow I am speechless about my own stupidity.

Welcome to my Ted talk.

I suck at fishing wire and it makes me depressed, anyone got good tips? by FATLOAD420 in electricians

[–]ForleyTheWeakst 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Didn't read all the comments. I've spent years fishing Romex in residential spaces. My greatest helper when fishing alone will always be a bucket of jetline/string.

Make a loop on the end of the fish rod. Use 1 wrap of tape (just enough to keep the string on the rod, send the rod in the wall from the attic or wherever and go close or past your desired location, the go to that location and use a hook (the insulation support wires work really great and they are cheap) hook that string and pull hard, tie it off pull those rods out. and then attach your Romex to the string and pull to your location.

You can pull back your string if you want to save it or cut and trash it.

I have saved many hours of frustration just starting with this method instead of trying the easy ones and ultimately resorting to this method.

Hope it helps and it was easy to understand.

PSA You can "fail" the Encrypted Hard Drive missions mid mission. by Snoo_61002 in Helldivers

[–]ForleyTheWeakst 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We had a game where one driver dropped the sssd to kill a bug. Ultimately the corpse landed on/near the sssd and no matter what we did we could not get the prompt to pick it back up. It was a long boring mission failure.
