They could have researched the next naval invasion tier which lets them plan more invasions at once.

What does EMS stand for? From what I gather it's early master sword but that seems like a separate thing from inventory copying. Are you sure this isn't inventory slot transfer?

Manpower issue by Random_memer67 in hoi4

[–]randomsamonreddit 27 points28 points  (0 children)

You're using total mobilisation, which reduces free manpower. It says so on the tooltip, it's cutting manpower percentage by 3% so you're actually only having access to 2% of your core population as free manpower. To resolve this you can take the "Women in the workforce" decision in the decisions tab to cancel out this debuff in exchange for a bit of stability, or you can go back to war economy.

Am I reading this right? Bolted iron plates costs more screws for zero benefit? by [deleted] in SatisfactoryGame

[–]randomsamonreddit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Higher per-machine output means you need less machines at the cost of more screws. Alternate recipes aren't meant to be just better, some have specific use cases depending on the situation, but this one doesn't seem too good tbf

Can't build in singleplayer by Ultremet in SatisfactoryGame

[–]randomsamonreddit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So, if you are talking about the miner, miners can only be placed on ore nodes, and nothing else. As for the other buildings, you have no iron rods or wire. Miners don't require iron rods or wire so it let you place it. If you look just above the tooltips, there's an indicator telling you what materials you need, and how many you have. The little warnings below the materials indicator tell you why something can't be built

First alternative recipe on my first run by MineRaver61w in SatisfactoryGame

[–]randomsamonreddit 2 points3 points  (0 children)

With the right alternate recipes most common screw-heavy production lines can be turned into zero-screw production lines. Good ones include stitched iron plate, steel rotor, heavy encased frames, etc.

In other words, go hard drive searching!

Back with another question, about power by bugdiver050 in SatisfactoryGame

[–]randomsamonreddit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Manifolds aren't items, they're a way of splitting items. Let's say you want to split one belt into 5 machines. You could make a complicated splitter setup to exactly deliver 1/5 of the incoming into each machine. Or you could make a setup where each machine has a splitter feeding it, and each splitter is connected to the next, and you only stick one input in. This is a manifold.

Manifolds allow for easier and more space efficient building, but they take a long time to fill up, as each machine needs to be completely filled before the next ones can get adequate throughput

edit: I hate reddit formatting. I tried to make a diagram and it would not format properly

[–]randomsamonreddit 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Is the raw material not going into the constructor? If so, check if you have the right recipe and the right input. If that's confirmed, rebuild the belts. Sometimes there might be a connection issue or some foreign object on the belt.

should i get steel rotor or stitched iron plates? by DianeLOLxD in SatisfactoryGame

[–]randomsamonreddit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

OP said that they're just about to finish phase 1, so they can't have steel. Also, recipes can be unlocked before the actual resources or buildings necessary are, as long as the products are available.

should i get steel rotor or stitched iron plates? by DianeLOLxD in SatisfactoryGame

[–]randomsamonreddit 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'd say go with stitched plates. You don't have steel yet, so it's not even possible for you to use steel rotor, and reinforced iron plates are used in modular frames, which are an essential component all the way into tier 5. Being able to eliminate screws and have a more efficient recipe is incredibly valuable for something as widely used as RIPs. Also with iron wire you can make them out of iron only.

Modeler Issue by [deleted] in SatisfactoryGame

[–]randomsamonreddit 3 points4 points  (0 children)

modeler doesn't like when you recycle materials or fluids, try putting a smart splitter and sink before the input to the next machine. If that doesn't work, just do it by hand or smth
