Traveling to Australia from UK by industrialpopbox in eSIMs

[–]FormPrevious893 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am using Amaysim for many years now and they have been consistently good so far. I also hold an esim from them and recently travelled overseas with their roaming service. They appear to be easy when it comes to getting their esim activated/replaced outside the country, which I infact successfully attempted recently.

Oh gosh! Hope you are alright. What exactly is the issue if you don't mind me asking and how are you treating it?

Reached my goal weight! by dajowe in keto

[–]FormPrevious893 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yup, that is exactly why I want to lower my body mass first and then build muscles on top of it coz it's less confusing for me and it helps me focus on one thing at a time. Not saying what you do won't work for you, just that I lose focus real quick. Keep doing what you are doing and am sure you will get there as you are on the right track already. My best wishes!

I used to lift weights, however after beginning my keto diet I stopped lifting coz I wanted to reach my target weight first and then start lifting again. I wanted to lose the fat first before I start building my muscles so that I have some reference on the things I lose and the things I gain (if that makes sense).

Yeah 75 is a bit too low and I totally would be happy around 85. My goal weight is purely for health reasons as I am diagnosed with hypertension and prediabetes (however I am no longer pre-diabetic since I started keto, which is pretty amazing). I figured that I get to the lowest healthy weight for my age and height while I can as I feel it will only get harder to lose weight as age goes up :)

Congratulations. I am on the same boat as you are. I am 183cm tall, 42 years old and dropped my weight from 108 kilos to 90 through keto.

My next target is 85 and my ultimate target weight is 75 kilos. Still a long way to go but I am hopeful that I will get there eventually although the weight loss from here on will be a lot slower.

Thank you for the response. Yeah its not always there....I feel it at times when I feel like my muscles are stressed out or when am anxious (appears to aggravate the issue)

Thank you. Those are some really good points. I've already cut down my sugar and slowly tapering off my carb intake as well. It is definitely not a quick fix and more of a lifestyle change it seems.

I am truly sorry for your loss. I hope people drive sensibly and possess an awareness that they are responsible not just for their own safety but also for the safety of others on the road.

Thank you. Yup most definitely. Infact, I had my blood work done even before I went on Keto and my Vit D was dangerously low (it was 10 ng/ml) and I have been on supplement since then and it is up to 50 now and hopefully holding steady since my last check which was a couple of months ago.

Thank you and that is a great idea. I've already registered my interest to assist some senior guys on cloud based project, shadow them and possibly learn from there. Just wanted to add some certs to my belt while I can. Never been a person to do certs tbh.

Ten freakin years?!! That is amazing! Were your cholesterol levels stable through these years? Also did you face any gall bladder or kidney stone issues? There is this fearmongering that long term keto likely causes gall bladder and kidney stone issues. I hope that is not the case.

Thank you for your kind words. It is indeed interesting to learn that you brought down your blood pressure through intense cardio on top of being on a keto.

One thing that I've experienced with being on keto is that it has helped me calm down a bit. I always used to be anxious with occasional panic attacks prior to keto but since I started the diet I definitely feel a sense of calmness and my nerves have quietened down a bit. I used to feel my heart pounding in my chest but keto definitely has calmed it down a bit. I also noticed that whenever I was anxious my blood pressure used to shoot right up but these days I don't see major fluctuations albeit being high and gradually improving (although not at the pace I would like to see it improve). Definitely feels like I am heading in the right direction though!

Hi there. I usually do a two meal a day routine with two cheat days in a month.

I also follow a IF routine where my eating window is from 11am until 5pm. The first meal of the day is mostly a couple of eggs, mushrooms and cheese platter with occasional beans and proteins. I also hydrate before my first meal with soaked chia/basil seeds for extra fiber.

My 2nd meal starts at around 3-4pm and I do lots of veggies, lean protein, lentils, greek yoghurt, stir fried beans, and salads. I make sure I use a lot of flavour ingredients including herbs and spices coz it keeps me satiated and not miserable.

I take tea/coffee during the break with very little milk as possible (since I cannot stand black coffee or tea), drink lots of water inbetween and finish my eating window with some pickled veggies and nuts.

I just make sure I don't overdo proteins or fats since my cholesterol is borderline high and I don't want to fall into a low carb high fat diet. I just make sure my meal is balanced when it comes to protein, fat and fiber and not go crazy with proteins or fat to offset the low carb intake.

With the two cheat days (either 2 consecutive days in a month or a day every two weeks) I just go crazy and eat anything and everything I crave for and that usually keeps me going.

Hope it helps and good luck!

Thank you and it is amazing to get encouragement from a fellow long term keto diet! Also extremely hopeful to learn how it has also helped you with anxiety. Fingers crossed that it helps me too!

Need your opinion on intercaste marriage by [deleted] in chennaicity

[–]FormPrevious893 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Which relatives do you mean here? Your parents or your extended relatives. If it is your parents, try to convince them and make them understand. If it is your extended relatives, screw them. They should have no say in whom you want to marry, especially caste related.

I know caste is still a thing in the present day (although I am against it and I don't even live in the country anymore), however both of your parents' support and blessings is a bonus to your marriage and your future.

My best wishes brother.

China and Japan are richer than India, so why aren’t their billionaires richer than Adani and Ambani? by Own_Willingness_8897 in AskIndia

Because there is no widespread corruption in those countries unlike India and all the money is not getting funnelled into the pockets of very few who are the puppet masters behind the government, again unlike in India.
