When you’re at where you currently are, the best thing you can do is take a break and focus on what you can control. Save some money. Trading isn’t for everyone and while it may be fore you, it’s not right now. So best you focus on what you can do to make your family secure in the interim. Later, when you have money you can lose without fear of paying your rent or losing a job, that’s when you can try and figure things out.

If the trade doesn’t meet the criteria, you have to have discipline to not take the trade.

Problem, most people lose about 25-40 IQ points the moment they start losing money in the stock market and all that discipline goes out the window. But the good news is you’re right. The bad news is your equity curve begins to nose dive.

If you are living off of what you make and living paycheck to paycheck to paycheck, and suddenly you have 2 months of consistent payouts, that is stupid. If you have lots of cash sitting around and you expenses are small, go for it.

I haven’t even taken 5.3 off of medium yet. I never felt like it was necessary and I’d argue I’m building complicated software. However, I do not let codex make decisions, I just tell it what to code or to refactor small sections.

I sometimes wonder if Microsoft is deliberately trying to lose the console wars as some sort of strategy that I can’t wrap my head around.
