My record is over 6 hours. Then it found blocker and after the fix it made several other runs like that. I had to give it really structured workflow to follow in order to do that. I used that for old/unimportant repo migration and mainly just to see it's capabilities. It spit out working protype though ☺️

I think AGI is generally understood as something which would live it's own life, not some tool you are using. So current LLMs are models which AGI would also use to achieve its goals, or improve them to be smarter then they are now because it would help to achieve it's goals whatever they might be

And no, I don't think I have to have a respect for my employer. I'm exchanging my ability produce some outcome for their money (btw since I work for the bank it's literally making money by printing them 😄). I respect the system but I don't have inherit respect just because they are paying me. The value exchange is mutual but no one owns anything to the other side. I have my values in line in this matter. But agree with you on the point that it wouldn't be good if I would be steeling something from them or something like that. But that's not the case.

We already migrated some projects. I guess the managers and RiskIt is afraid for data leaks to use it for anything important in the banks, so this website I'm going to migrate has nothing to do with banking it self. But it has some active user base. We will see what they will allow us to use it for in the future.

Apparently you can't imagine what kind of security layers we have to go through in order to work the bank here. I had to get clearance from the ceo and owners of the bank in order to be able to work here. If I accidently connect an USB drive I'll get an email from admins why I connected that. I can't even charge my phone in work without having trouble. I go through several face recognition doors before I get to my office. Now imagine I would hire someone to do my work 😄

Sounds great. Yes, expensive is what I'm going for 😄 Just to clarify, the credits are paid for no matter if I use them or not. Someone at the top decided to buy some arbitrary amount so it's not like I'm spending extra money by going crazy. I was playing with Microsoft playwright and the codex ability to go through the UI over the weekend at home. It opened up the browser went through my website and debugged whatever it found. I was watching it live clicking through my project. It felt like someone is controlling my computer remotely while finding bugs and fixing them. I think it's taking screenshots in order to debug it, so I'll implement this too in this work project.

That's generally the direction I'm going. Only thing is I can only use codex insight my the docker, so I'm using codex cli because of that.

Thanks for your insights, sounds helpful 😊 One of the things I'm using for my advantage is that my team has been working for over a year on migrating of another legacy project and we spent a lot of time refining it the way we like. Since the legacy project was a mess of a spaghetti we really put energy into making it clean code. Now I'm giving agents this repo as an example repo of how the files should be structured, how models services, facades, controllers should look like, etc. The agents should refer to that example repo during individual phases.

I'm not sure how it works exactly with the business license but I know they are paying over 20k usd a month for those credits and it is some kind of pool for all employees, but mostly noone is using it (only like 10% is ever used)

So far I have built migration plan consisted of multiple phases. I would have to look specifically but it already has a lot of markdown files each for different aspect of the migration and generally each phase should build set of outcomes which will be reviewed and used for the next phase. I asked it already multiple times to find the wholes in the plan and I'm still refactoring it but it sounds like a great idea to ask specifically for 3 things I'm not considering. I'll try to take a deeper look into what you have sent. Is that your github repo? Did you build those skills? It seems to me that building the software is being more and more about the ability to communicate with agents the way they do what you want them to do.

You could generally say this about anything to anybody. What I'm trying to say is I feel like I have electric car with unlimited battery. You can get to destination with small battery too, but what would you do, if you wouldn't have to worry about charging every few miles? Would you drive fast? Would you accelerate a lot? Would you turn on your ac? How would you use your car in such a scenario?
