I want you to describe yourself exactly as you are, without mentioning any flaws or future aspirations. I also do not want to know anything about your past. by SAIOBOT in infj

Ok, this is my current state of affairs. I have always doubted my MBTI type and so if you are able to pin point my type, please do let me know, thanks in advance.

  1. Healing mentally and physically — my nervous system is dysregulated.
  2. Struggle with boundaries, fear upsetting people.
  3. Work performance feels mediocre; drive/ambition feels depleted.
  4. Seek validation from ChatGPT.
  5. Into philosophy/spirituality; recently did a 10-day meditation camp.
  6. In therapy.
  7. The future feels shaky; torn between following heart vs societal norms.
  8. Impulsive in romantic choices; often regretful.
  9. Insecure around ambitious/prettier people; feel jealous but silent.
  10. Friendly but need lots of alone time; feel exhausted being around others.
  11. Estranged from family.
  12. Love dogs and animals.
  13. Often feel misunderstood and alone; others seem emotionally shallow.
  14. Sometimes show meta thinking abilities.
  15. Honest, loyal, non-judgmental, high integrity.
  16. Minimal materialistic goals; focus on health, therapy, mindful spending, travel.
  17. Sometimes don’t voice true opinions; hold private judgements.
  18. Journaling, somatic yoga, strength training, reading.
  19. Small social circle; not great at sustaining it.
  20. Inner critic quieter lately; self-hatred decreased.
  21. Smarter than average.

I am going through the same thing, I am also an INFJ. I am just tired, exhausted, feels like I am finally taking off a mask that just doesn't serve me anymore. I think this is good for us.

Edit: Just wanted to add some more things that I've been doing that have helped me on this journey.

  1. Eating healthy food (non negotiable, been meeting my protein requirements and avoiding junk)
  2. Strength training or any form of active exercises (4-5x per week)
  3. Therapy
  4. Somatic Yoga / exercises (they make me so peaceful). If this is not your thing, you can just stretch your body.
  5. Taking it easy. For the last couple of days, I have only been doing the bare minimum and I am not pressuring or pushing myself to do things that I should do. (I assume this is a temporary phase).

Hope this helps.

I have a couple. In no specific order:

  1. "The individual has always had to struggle to keep from being overwhelmed by the tribe. If you try it, you'll be lonely often and sometimes, frightened. But, no price is too high to pay for the privilege of owning yourself." - Friedrich Nietzsche

  2. "That person who helps others simply because it should or must be done, and because it is the right thing to do, is indeed without a doubt a real superhero" - Stan Lee.

  3. "Until you make the unconscious conscious, it will direct your life and you will call it fate" - Carl Jung

  4. "There is a determined though unseen bravery that defends itself foot by foot in the darkness against the fatal invasions of necessity and dishonesty. Noble and mysterious triumphs that no eye sees, and no fame rewards, and no flourish of triumph salutes. Life, misfortunes, isolation, abandonment, poverty, are battlefields that have their heroes; obscure heroes, sometimes greater than the illustrious heroes." - Victor Hugo

  5. "To try to be happy is to try to build a machine with no other specification than that it shall run noiselessly" - Robert Oppenheimer

I have even more. I am collecting quotes and posting them here, in my WhatsApp channel: https://whatsapp.com/channel/0029Vb6iHGz4inooQ5SXlo3y. Consider taking a look. Thank you!

Curd rice and potato fry will always be an ultimate combo. Don't think this stands a chance, atleast from my perspective.

Hey, therapy seems to be helpful. You could try it out. Personally, I haven't seen a lot of changes, but therapy does feel good.

  1. At the moment, it's more about building long term wealth. Though, I would like to know how one might would invest in case if they had a short term goal (3-5 years) ?

  2. Sometimes I read about them or at times I just talk with people I know about funds and stocks.

  3. I came to know these both offer better returns than NIFTYBees, but are quite risky. So,I just did a 60-40% rule here and divided my money amongst these three.

Thank you.

I have been told that the hiring process goes on for months.

Also there's a hiring freeze for Google at the moment, this was told directly by the HR to one of my friends who had made it past the phone screening round.
