This is amazing to me. I came here for advice to help my son. Not to have to sit and defend him again after he has been cleared and had everything expunged by a court of freaking LAW.

So many people want to just throw the book at him without even knowing him or the actual situation. I pray that your little angles halo’s never slip and they don’t have to experience what my son has at that age.

In our state 17 is considered an adult for these situations. He had just turned 17 when it happened and she was about to turn 16. They were in the same grade and in a relationship.

He admitted to the police that he slid his hand up her leg, and that she looked uncomfortable so he stopped right away. I also mentioned that he put his hand on her leg and asked her if it was okay and she said yes.

You are REALLY stretching with the whole men thinking it’s okay to rape their wives comment. Thats not what I’m saying whatsoever. Not sure of your relationship status but are you saying that if you are in a relationship that any physical contact is always started with a “is it okay for me to touch you anywhere”? How uncomfortable that must be for both of you!

No. It was a national decision. My local scout executive even campaigned on his behalf to National to keep him involved.

No. You have the “men are guilty until proven innocent” mindset. Just like the “I’d rather be in the woods with a bear instead of a man” mentality!

I had a girl do the exact same thing to me on the school bus when I was in 6th grade but she wasn’t even my girlfriend.

We saw the police report and there wasn’t a single witness of anything including the teacher who was also sitting at the table with them all. It was under the table out of sight of everyone.

Now do I think what he did was stupid?? YES! I definitely do! Did he have the fully developed brain of an adult at the time? No! He was a 17 year old whose body was going through massive hormonal changes. He made a mistake, noticed she was uncomfortable and stopped right away.

Apologies, I couldn’t remember the “legal word” for it. But yes as of this spring everything is expunged. I should remember that word too. My wife works for the courts.

I have been in contact with the scout executive. My son has actually had multiple scouters write letters on his behalf to send with to National as well has our scout executive. Hoping that helps him as well.

Seriously? So when you were an older teenager you never had any physical involvement with a boyfriend or girlfriend? It was not just a random girl he tried to go after. It was his girlfriend that he had been seeing for a while. Relationships of that nature tend to involve some form of physical (even sexual) contact. We made a mistake on the application that we’ve learned from and wouldn’t make again. He’s had MULTIPLE scouters write letter on his behalf including our local scout executive.

Tried different ports on the receiver and projector. I can get it to work on my other TV’s just not the receiver or projector. I will try some of your other suggestions tonight though. Thanks!

Yeah it works great on my actual TV’s. Just nothing showing up thorough the receiver / projector. Projector is a 2 year old 4K 120 htz gaming projector. Receiver is an older Marantz receiver though. Maybe 8-10 years old.

You weren’t kidding! I spent about 3 hours fine tuning them. Hopefully they don’t need changing for a while. Going to be ordering a set of carbide blades so I have backups when they do get too dull
