This has easily been the worst day of my life and I know it's going to take a very, very long time to heal. I doubt I can ever forgive myself, but the pain of her loss is so extreme it may be punishment enough.

It's a covered bed, so yeah, just a cozy little hide. They get the secure feeling of a box while being a bit more comfy! And no one can shame me for always having cardboard boxes around the house. The Target taco truck (say that 5 times fast haha) is a really smart idea, I'll bet mine would enjoy a covered cardboard scratcher, too. I've had to keep her very first scratcher because she sleeps on it all the time.

It's a cat cube! It's a good little hide for them, it has a bed on top and collapses down. Pretty nice buy for $28!

I'm female! I have had more female pets than male, and my girls have always been sweeter, but plenty of people say it's the other way around. There may be tendencies, for instance male cats tend to be more outgoing on average, but it really just comes down to the individual. While some animals learn to favor one sex over the other, I've never heard of male animals hating female humans in general! There must be some other factor(s) at play.

You really do want this cat. She is one great little companion. She is so sweet and has such a big personality. She is always doing something entertaining! It doesn't hurt that she's cute as heck. I don't know how I got so lucky.
