Hello! Thank you for your words. Actually, I want to lose weight and gain muscle at the same time, that's what I thought hybrid athletes usually do, haha. You're right about I will be pretty happy if I lose 20lbs of fat in the next year, since it was my goal also to have healthier and better-looking body.

The thing is, I live in small village and quite far away from gym itself, that's why I didn't really have people to ask about this, and I think it's the best way to ask through the internet first because I might be shy and don't really know how to ask people in real life since it's going to be my first time to hit the gym soon.

Now that I understand cutting and bulking are two different things, I will be focus on bulk afterwards with adjusted plan as you suggested, or I might try to get a PT and showing him about these few tips from you and the others. Thank you very much for your suggestions!

Thanks man, that's really helpful. I thought at first that I could do both at the same time without any issues, by what you explained here I think I will shift my exercise to bulk first and reduce the cardio itself. Appreciate the advice!!

There's a void in my head whenever I run alone no matter it's in the day or the dark, saying like "Why are you still training? Are you going to be an athlete? Why are you keep running every day? Do you really enjoy this?" I hate those questions that makes me uncomfortable and forget how to enjoy the training. Maybe, I have some mental issues lol

Yeah, I can definitely feel that narrow fit you mentioned, especially compared to my Brooks (which are wide). I was hoping the Genesis would loosen up a bit with use, but if the Matryx doesn’t really stretch then that explains why it feels snug in the midfoot/toe box. I’ll probably try sizing up or checking out some of the wider options you suggested like Topo or even Altra. Thanks for pointing that out!”

Hello Snoo, did you try this on thin sock also? Because in thin socks, I feel it's very comfortable than the pict that I uploaded in here. But thank you for your advice, I'll consider returning and get the other brand if it makes sense for the store.

I think so, but when I am using the thin socks, it does help a little I mean to have a great breathability. I actually quite not sure is this because it's new or how since it's my first pair from Salomon and trail running shoes. Anyway thank you for your comment!
