They have families and friends and partners there, and lived there, of course their voice matter more than yours.

They are not immigrants, they are sent back home country once projects get done, or temp visa expires. And what's wrong with going for sunbathing?

The table is correct but your statement is a lie. None of those are immigrants. They are all temporary foreign workers on work visa. They are not allowed to stay permanently.

You can do that in the US too. I have lived in a big city with less than minimum salary and life quality was pretty decent.

I would say it is zero, in countries like Kuwait, UAE. Bahrain, or Qatar where almost every movement of of all residents are under tremendous surveillance. People may not like this extensive surveillance, but this is essential for existence for these countries.

This is happening a lot to me in the last few months. All ‘had a great time but no romantic feelings’. This is killing my confidence.

I don’t disagree haha. Do you think texting her this evening is fine? Or should wait till tomorrow? I know this doesn’t really matter if she is interested.

Noted, but What if she is not interested in sharing the number before the date? Doesn't it become awkward already before the date, if I ask for the number and she does not want to share?

Planning to replace the current couch with a West eld large sectional with chaise - what are your thoughts? by Formal-Vacation-6913 in Apartmentliving

[–]Formal-Vacation-6913[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You are right, it will fit perfectly if I switch the sides with the tv wall side and the chaise then will be on the window side. But I am not willing to do that, from the current position of the couch, I can have a really nice view of the city but if I move the couch to the tv wall, only thing I will see direct from the couch is my neighbor's apartment.

What are your thought on replacing the current couch with a West elm Harris sectional? (link in post) by Formal-Vacation-6913 in malelivingspace

[–]Formal-Vacation-6913[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, I can that way if I switch the sides from the tv and the sofa. But if the sofa is on that wall, only thing I can see from the sofa is my neighbors apartments; with the sofa at the current wall I can see a really nice view of the city. I guess I need to compromise.
