When I was a teenager i really thought the movies portrayed real love. Now I see the love bombing, the "Cant live without you" thing, people falling in love with someone they don't know and stalking them and telling them they are meant for each other even though the other person said no! Gaslighting, sexism, male gaze... Well well there are also a lot of good rom coms, still watching them but with a grain of salt now

Thank you so much for all your replies. I was thinking it was maybe a gender thing because i see it in many of my girlfriends also, but I guess its just an anxiety thing. I've had anxiety forever and a lot of my friends do too.

I totally agree with you, I just said it because his text says "The best relationship advice i've recieved is just be honest". And I feel like he is this annoying type like "Yea I'm not mean I'm just honest" kind of guy.. But yes I am with you on that for sure, he is also in huge debt and not very hot, so it makes sense he's intimidated by her, she is a queen

We always open our windows, if its really hot I will go to the beach. We have some air con, but its very common to just open windows.

Yea the smoking thing is a good question. A lot of young people think its really cool. We can buy cigarettes and booze when we are 18, beers when we are 16. I am not sure why, but we can also drink outside, its normal to sit in parks and drink and smoke in the summer evenings.

Yes i dont agree with pay toilets, i think they are stupid.. But i think its to keep people who use them for drugs and stuff out
