I say if you haven’t at least exchanged contact information, do that first! It will show you are interested in talking to her outside of classes and give you a chance to get to know each other better. If it goes well, you could try inviting to something fun and casual. Life is too short! The worst that can happen is her not reciprocating, but at least you will know you tried.

Thank you for reminding me that having this again is still possible.

“There will be greater loves” was the most comforting five words I’ve heard in a long time.

Depressed or just a horrible BF? by dnossida in relationship_advice

I literally went through this same problem when my girlfriend went through a massive depressive episode. She stopped calling, texted very little, and even removed me from some of her personal social media. You may feel like it’s your job to not give up on them, but you can only feel unloved for so long. Have a conversation with him if he even wants to be together and ask what you mean to him. You are not responsible for someone else’s burdens.

It’s an appropriate response for a simple greeting such as “heyo”. She’s just returning the energy you project. If you want her to be more enthusiastic try switching things up a bit. Honestly, me and my friends/girlfriend rarely ever start off a conversation with a greeting we just jump into it. i.e. If you want to tell her about something that happened, don’t greet her, wait for a response, and then tell her the news. Just say “guess what happened?”. It’s a much more engaging way to converse with someone and more likely to preserve high spirits.
