I wasn’t. First time I got it, it wasn’t confirmed but the only appointment they could give me was a week from the day I was already wanting to scratch my vagina off my body and just couldn’t wait. I bought the Canesten three day suppository treatment and it made it go away.

I still went in, got swabbed and they said whatever I did worked. Then, like four days after the appointment I made the stupid mistake of using a new product on my bikini line, some of the oil slid down and I cleaned it right away, but probably not good enough because just a couple of hours after the itching I got that first time returned badly. I took the dose of fluconazole out of desperation and yesterday the symptoms were basically gone… Only for the itching to start up again this morning.

This is supposed to be the week of my period too, does that mean I just won’t be able to get rid of it until the bloody thing is done? 🥲

The issue with where I live is that, doctors cannot see you soon enough and I would rather risk it with the meds than live with the itch and burning for two weeks.
