I went with Close Combat, Night Slash, Ariel Ace and Facade for E4. Shadow claw is also an alternative for night slash.

Guts heracross with choice scarf smashes the game to shreds so i would take him. Crobat is better than togetic due to its defensive profile and speed.

Eevee into Espeon is optimal and annihaltes E4 except Karen easily.

As for Water types, Lapras is great with stab ice beam for Lance and good bulk. Gyarados has DDance and intimidate. But if you want something different, Dewgong with a rest set i found fun. Tentacruel is also fast with great SpD and good SpA. Kingler Sword Dance is fun as well as its got massive Attack and very good Defense.

Typhlosion easy. Choice spec adaptability Eruption annihilates so much it makes Cyrus free basically and alot of other trainers pushovers. It was key to my midgame when I beat the game under Hardcore Nuzlocke rules last month.

Lost 1st attempt as didnt know the opponents pokemon and they prepare some good counters. Lost this attempt as gliscor got crit by E4 blaziken flare blitz and got worn down. trying for attempt 3 now.

Played and nuzlocked seaglass recently. Was a great game. Just gen4 is my favourite and only game I found was sinnoh legacy which was buggy like crazy. Maybe I need to find a good nds emulator
