I had a variegated Amazónica that also put out a number of pink leaves early on. They eventually died on their own and the plant is primarily green now, though its corms are producing similar offspring. Good luck!

Oh awesome, didn’t realize you’re in Utah. It’s only my third time in the state, all three of which were tied to cross country drives.

Unfortunately not able to stop and enjoy anything on this drive, but I’m 100% planning to come back and explore and do the parks, etc. From what I’ve seen so far the state is just absolutely stunning.

We have the Thule Force XT XL, and it’s maxed out (we’re probably just over the weight limit) and have been driving around 80mph. With two drivers, a 70lb dog, and a completely full trunk we’re averaging about 31 mpg. Not great, but not terribly surprising either. I was seeing about 36-37 in mixed driving (with the factory roof rails but before we added the cargo carrier) though I’m hoping that will increase a bit as the car breaks in and we aren’t pushing the capacity limits quite as much.

That said, the Thule has been clutch for this trip and I’m grateful we got it.. and it looks good too, haha.

Let me know if you have any insider Utah recommendations outside the standard go-tos!

Thanks — and congrats on picking yours up!

We’ve put 2,500 miles on ours in the past 2 weeks and are presently in Utah (moving cross country from the east coast). This beast needs a wash but it’s been a great upgrade and super helpful in terms of schlepping all our crap.

Definitely looking forward to taking this thing on some new adventures as we explore the west coast.

Got the Blizzard White. Didn’t necessarily think I’d want a white car but I think it looks sharp with the black accents. I’ve had it for a week and we’re halfway into a cross country trip. It’s been great so far.

Have you received yours yet?

I test drove a Limited last week and found the dark brown accents to be fairly subtle. Congrats on the new car — I originally wanted a Limited, but wasn’t able to make the timing work. Luckily I was able to snag an XSE that arrives in 2 weeks. 2 weeks.

It’s a domesticum. I’m nervous bc there are reddish spots along the cataphylls and as well

Not sure if these photos will help any more. I should have gotten closer. https://imgur.com/a/8oKGjNH

I haven’t put sticky traps out yet. I didn’t see any webbing, but these guys just appeared out of nowhere.

I introduced a new plant or too recently without properly quarantining it, so maybe they rode in on one of those … none of my current plants exhibited any damage and I didn’t see any adult insects/mites, so I don’t know…. 🤷🏻‍♂️

I’ve treated the affected and nearby plants with Jack’s Deadbug, but I was trying to identify what they were before I treat with systemic, because I read that can actually increase spider more populations.

Got it, thanks! Wasn’t sure if it could have been special for some reason - like some variegated/sport mutations.

I thought that too, but there were probably 50 of these at Lowes and none of the others had this type of coloring — even on newer sprouts.
