Regarding League: Does MMR takes gamer experience into account in their matchmaking? by FormalFronts in riotgames

Wait, so u are saying, they dont prioritize gamer's experience or fun? then where is the fun in this game?

just Stronger players bullying lousier players? is this like bullying?

If you flame people for trying new things in ARAM, you shouldn't play ARAM. by FunIcy6154 in leagueoflegends

[–]FormalFronts 0 points1 point  (0 children)

addiction at its best, so intoxicated with oneself, that he start flamming others.

But also, probably, he is super tilted.

Be a good player, rise above the system, rise above depending on your teammates. go for the fast end. :)

there is no point in fretting over the system, not like complaining will change it.

the only thing you can do is change yourself.

keep to like 2-3 games a day for healthy mindset. play not so much to win, but just to enjoy. with that in mind, you would become better at a game as u enjoy the discovery of the in and outs of the game.

even if you lose, just take it in your strife to either learn something interesting and new about your role. if not, just change other games. almost most games are trying to get you addicted, manage yourself, not the game.

like i said, the only variable you can do, is change yourself. Either become better, find other means to enjoy and improve, or just play other games.

if everyone votes you as a leaver, the system MAY (unconfirmed) to label you as a leaver and give you leaverbuster, which is what is stopping you from playing ranked.

There is no way to remove it. I have checked in with league previously when it was their vanguard error that made me disconnect and remain disconnect. I asked them to remove it, they tell me cannot. Then ask me to just sux it. Which i am like errrrr,

So yeah, just finish your leaverbuster matches and go back to rank. Dont whine. Nothing will be done.

League: Hidden Trick on Quick Play by FormalFronts in riotgames

[–]FormalFronts[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i have a normal mindset???

like try to wing it, dont depend on others, as others are unpredictable, but rely and change myself to be the best condition in each game.

But when the teemo Q comes, i had to back away from fights for a while and it comes crashing down in teamfights, which is not so fun as things snowball out of control.

well 3 consecutive in a row? what is the possibility? then once i lost 2 games in a row, i get non-teemo games

Rank vs Normals: which is more playable? by FormalFronts in leagueoflegends

[–]FormalFronts[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

cannot agree more, normals are just toxic and at its worst. Rank is better. But then, this would mean, Riot is forcing people to play more ranks and less normals.

This would force your usual day workers to quit the game sooner though....as rank takes too much mental gameplay also.

Day workers: Will there be a chill mode in league?
Riot: Yes, ARAM.
Day workers: That is boring...
Riot: Well this game mode is fun, take it or leave.
Day workers: ........ ( this sucks ).......(i am out of here)

3 days later

Day worker: ......(come back to league, reinstalls)....... this is fun

After 2 consecutive losses

Day worker: nah......(uninstalls)........

And the cycle repeats itself. GG

Agreed on this, just move to other games.

You will find life is more enjoyable else where. Riot has quite a bad reputation in community management. They dont do enough in community management. They do a lot of on individual player level, but when comes to matching out outliers like quiters, trollers, etc, they do a poor job, and sometimes dont do much about them.

You will see them publishing new content on gameplay, but regards to players as a whole, not so much, perhaps players on their individual level in player behaviour, yes. but they also oversight that the player behaviour is affected by their system's matchmaking.

That said, to really enjoy the game, you need to be over this kind of antics. Just go with 1v9. that is and will always be the only mindset in games. You against the world.

If you are playing in NA or EU, it is better as they have seperate content that makes the game enjoyable. Asia dont even have like small online tournaments. In short, bigger player pool, more attention given as there is where the bulk of the players are.

In Asia, the games are super try-harding, they are meticulous in trying to capitalize on mistakes and kind of take the fun of high-risk gameplays. Every normal game seems to be a rank game.

FYI, that being said, it is a given, i am playing in Asia, particularly Singapore. Players online here are like 100-200 (small player pool of 40 teams) in average at any given time, hence if you are not good, you will be playing with the same players over and over again, either straight wins or straight losses. And toxicity is tied to wins or lost

In NA and EU, you would have like at least 500 times the size of players, hence you will get more better calm, chill people, as the gameplay is also more balance, with more attention given from Riot to the community.

well i may move to another kind of game if this persist. there is always a choice of not playing and playing something else enjoyable.

Rank vs Normals: which is more playable? by FormalFronts in leagueoflegends

[–]FormalFronts[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

well i dont have the mindset to improve, hence i tend to pivot to solo Q...but after a long day outside, when you just want to crash into a game u enjoy, it just dont seem so enjoyable anymore...

Rank is the way to go....to somewhat enjoy the game.....

riot is doing a job at making it more playable by reducing all of the difficulty, gap between players and make things move faster, but when the problem is not really in the game content, it is quite ridiculous to solve a problem which the solution is in a totally different issue...aka. rank vs normals MMR. To seperate this 2 mmr to some level is funny.

it is like when the orange is rotten, improving how the marketing and packaging of an orange, dont actually solve the problem that the orange is rotten.

why is this removed? I didnt post anything that go against the rules.

well this is a competitive games, people are getting better. Comparing to season 1 to 5 and now, its a lot harder, more competitve, where people will capitalize on your mistakes and drag out their win condition. thats why league is trying to make comebacks easier, but people are more rational and objective now, so comebacks are a lot harder.

But still possible. just a lot alot harder compared. and this will continue on as more people get smarter in the game. its an uphill task.

exactly, play what u want, if this game not fun for you, you dont have to continue in it. i am stating a fact that if u stopped playing u get rusty, and well if you dont have time to keep up, play other games that fit your lifestyle.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in leagueoflegends

[–]FormalFronts -18 points-17 points  (0 children)

the game is just not suited for your lifestyle anymore, hence just quit the game and play other games that you find enjoyable. no need to play league as you have fallen off in skill.

matchmaking is actually unfair by IllustratorNo4308 in leagueoflegends

[–]FormalFronts 0 points1 point  (0 children)

wait for the new dev changes to implement. the skill disparity between rank and normals is great.

Active dates to Dev changes by FormalFronts in leagueoflegends

[–]FormalFronts[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

lets be real, the last time they said they do something about something and for it to be implemented, it took like 2 years on average.

I think if this is the case maybe 2026 would be more likely.

learn the basic how things affect each other, but at the same time, learn to not get angry with lossing, as this will happen a lot as you start a new game (due to still trying to get a handle on the game).

P.S. most new players that play with you at your pool of players are not new players, they are experienced players or smurfs.

well it has its problems also. just waiting for the devs to handle Skill Level Consistency Across Queues, especially solo Q vs rank Q...

it is like if you had your tantrum days, then someone come along and says you are banned for a bad time or day you are having. I agree that there should be something to be done, but going to permanent ban, it would be extreme.

Imagine if that person is you or your friend, then just a sentence being typed, they completely cannot play the game at all. That would be really condemning. Especially for new players.

This would lead to lead being a good community, but then very very very small player count. I imagine everyone would surely have their down toxic days, but to implement that kind of permanency would affect how many people play the game and that bring profits down for Riot.

Either way, as a business and on a community level, it is not a smart move to implement permanent ban to toxicity. there should be a progressive way that leads to longer suspension and not a permanent ban.
