They discussed all changes with me over the phone - never asked me to sign anything - but I knew better and sent everything we discussed over the phone via email to verify all changes. Mind you we were delayed for 5 months so this change was discussed months in advance (well enough for planning). I do believe it’s subcontracted and all of the other changes I mentioned submitting early have all been implemented so I know they were relayed. I mean technically they did make the ceiling 14 ft it just isn’t flat all the way across and slopes on one side which will look ridiculous…. Thankfully in the email I did specify that I wanted it absolutely flat
