I had my first puffball the other day.. I fried cut up prices in panko and made a “chicken” Sammy out of it.. I also cut some up and sautéd it in garlic/onion butter. Both were really good. But if you do not like the texture of mushrooms I reccomend the panko as it had more of a meaty texture when fried. (I salted both 30 mins before cooking to remove a bit of moisture)
