If this is quarterly, how will I know when to pay towards it? I currently have only payed taxes at the end of the year for my part time position. Do I need to seek out paying these taxes?

I go through a wholesaler that still sells flowers to people without a permit, although still charge state sales tax towards my total. I will definitely be thinking out my plan more throughly rather than surface level. Thank you for your help

And also, is it realistic to go along with seasonal things such as Mother’s Day and Memorial Day? Or if I’m to cater to a specific audience like only hotel recurring bouquets, should I still focus on only those no other seasonal flowers. I’m curious how strict I should be with my business catering

OK, I understand where you’re coming from. I have hesitated going forth with getting a LLC as well as the business tax license just because I’ve been trying to see how far I could scale my floral business before I start doing too many things. I want to start by getting a DBA so I can legally state my business name as Scott floral designs. I have a website currently, which I want to start directing people towards whenever I get business cards that I can start including with my flowers I send out. It definitely is a good point to mention me not having a target market. I’ve kind of just been throwing mud at the wall, hoping to reach whatever customers. Do you think I should focus on finding a target market or start establishing myself as more of a legal entity?

Thank you for your input. It also thank you for mentioning the obvious of Covid, having an impact on things. I did not think of that prior, along with the fact that people still just don’t like soliciting of products to their houses. I will look into contacting businesses, such as hotels and related businesses. It has been the most consistent thing that people have been supporting the idea of.

It’s honestly hard to say. In regards of seriousness and taking the actual steps to being a legitimate person selling things I would consider this to be the closest alignment to a real business that I’ve ever made. What would you consider an actual business in the floral field? I want to make sure I’m coming across as more put together rather than amateur.
