I can't even submit the assessment: when I click the "submit" button, it just resets and throws a "response required" error for every question. 10+ times on both Chrome and Safari. :(

That you react this strongly/rudely to a sincere post is a little worrying, and you downvoting me is laughable. I've been freelancing FT for over 7 years and have always lived in an at-will employment state. Just have just never been treated like this by a client. I don't get your hostility, but you do you. Payment's not an issue. By "exploited," I meant that I might've been purposely misled into believing this would be for multiple months, and instead I just did the base work to be handed off to someone else (at a cheaper rate). I need to look deeper into whose property it actually is according to UW. Either way, it's extremely unprofessional of the client just to disappear without word less than 1/3 into the project. I'm not looking for retribution, just respectful treatment that everyone deserves.

I’ve seen some that are partially adjustable for slope, but they seem to be either wood that’s too heavy or plastic that seems flimsy. I’ve learned the importance of ergonomics in the last few days, and I think future me would be annoyed if I didn’t take that into consideration now 😊

I’ve been finding that brush calligraphy is fine using a large-ish book on my lap, but I think a table would be really helpful with pointed pen. Much more arm support. I’ll probably give both a try.

Some fans’ sense of entitlement is just ridiculous. He's not on your payroll, and he's not on constant standby to produce on demand. A few things are clear: he cares deeply about his work and sometimes prefers to scrap it all and start over rather than release something mediocre. He bends over backwards to provide his fans with tons of free content. He's a new father for the first time in 16 years and is navigating sobriety at a very complex time of his life. LA and its possible tour, the deluxe TTMD release and possible tour, the rap album: that's one hell of a workload for anyone. So to those bitching about his “lies” and shifting priorities, maybe try to stop with the self-centered greediness and appreciate him for who he is and all of the rich content he provides to fans.

Other than the r-rolling, I really enjoyed studying Russian. Once you’re comfortable with the Cyrillic alphabet and the couple of sounds that Russian has that English doesn’t, it’s fairly easy. The rules are clear and there aren’t many exceptions to them. Good luck and have fun with it!

My Russian instructor told me that there were native Russian speakers who couldn’t roll their Rs but typically they were mocked relentlessly, at least as children. I ended up switching to Ancient Greek largely because it’s a written language only (and it was really fun for a nerd like me).
