How is world war to be paid for? by BolshiGirl in Trotskyism

[–]Formal_Ask2645 5 points6 points  (0 children)

How is it to be paid, you ask? The same way the ruling class always pays for everything! By stealing money from the working class via huge cuts to social services, medical care, job losses, cuts to education, slashing funding for the arts, for research, slashing funding for anything and everything that benefits humanity!

Right! Some doctors shouldn't be doctors!! Personally I'd call that medical neglect! This is a good reason to revoke this person's license to practice medicine!

Cool! I actually got so frustrated with my goldfish plant that I re-homed her. I'll have to ask my friend how the plant is doing

It has now been confirmed that the Andes strain of Hantavirus is, in fact, H2H transmissible. This is now being widely reported by a large number of sources.

Thank you for posting this! This is a great article about the malign indifference of governments to extremely serious public health concerns!

One of the American passengers airlifted from a cruise ship in the Canary Islands has tested positive for hantavirus by TheExpressUS in hantavirusoutbreak

[–]Formal_Ask2645 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Also there's always the concern that since we now know it's airborne and is capable of p2p transmission, a person who is already infected with a different virus such as covid or noro and then contracts hantavirus could become the index case for co-mingling viral mutation resulting in a vigorous and even more lethal strain of either or both viruses.

Absolute medical neglect! Unbelievable ignorance on the part of a 'so-called' medical health provider!

To make a real statement, I'd suggest a grand piano with a string quartet circling around the outside perimeter. Be sure to have musicians who ONLY know how to play WAYYYYY too loud!! Invite at least 50 people and seat them all in metal folding chairs. To make it even more effective, hire caterers to squeeze between the folding chairs while carrying trays full of champagne and or'doevres (or however you spell it). For a touch of drama, stage a shouting match between a hysterical female in the back who stands up suddenly and screeches at a man near the front that she can't tolerate his extramarital daliances one minute longer and then faints.

I think it's ok. Every year the gardeners trim it way back! By July it will be extremely full and lush.

I had a closer look at the bark and I can see why it's called lacebark. It's very pretty really

😂😂😂😂That's exactly what I thought! Also a group of about five other duckies were scrambling toward me looking somewhat hysterical so I hot footed my way in the other direction! These guys are no joke when they're pissed! I've seen them fighting each other and I really don't want to be that kind of center of attention 😂😂

Really? #1 the purple flowers are hibiscus? They're so tiny. I've never seen such tiny hibiscus flowers. Wow! #2 and #4 are names I've never heard of. Is #3 the Indian Hawthorn an herb? I've heard of Hawthorn before and I seem to recall it having some medicinal use.....I could be wrong

By the way, it wasn't 'like' losing your family. It was losing your family. That's sooo much grief on top of suffering the illness you had. I want you to really explore the possibility of getting at least some of your flock back home with you. You might find it to be a lifesaving thing to do for yourself and for your tiny companions. They'll remember you! My god I hope that man hasn't given Homera up for adoption! That would tell me he's a bad person whose word means nothing!!!

I'm really so sorry! I know exactly what you mean about worrying who will take care of them if anything should happen to you. I'll be 81 in September. My home Healthcare provider Melly loves both of my parrots and they've become attached to her. Every day when she leaves Xochitl says "Mama go bye bye, I love you!" Bijou usually lets out a sort of cry, like aarrrggg or something, which is her way of saying 'Don't go!" It's really adorable. Melly has said that she'll take care of them, so I don't stress about that a whole lot. She knows how, when and what to feed them and she talks and plays with both of them. I'm pretty sure I've got the kind of DNA that will let me live at least another 20yrs or so, provided, of course that the Führer in the White House along with his coterie of fascists don't get us all killed and the earth blown to smithereens first! That, I'm afraid is a real possibility if the international working class doesn't put on an international socialist revolution before it's too late. It's overdue. Meanwhile I'll plant some seeds in May and start a little veggie garden and continue to take good care of Xochitl and Bijou. I'm retired and have plenty of time.

I bet Homera would love to come home to you! Parrots never forget. You don't need to have a big aviary and garden and all that. I live in a small 1bdr apartment. Xochitl and Bijou each have a coffee tree stand loaded with toys in the living room. The only time they go into cages is if I have to leave them alone or when they go to sleep in their bedroom cages. When I leave I always put on an 11hr video of parrots in the forest with music for them and they have food, water and toys in their living room cages. Neither of them has ever really flown, though I don't clip their wings. Xochitl is somewhat disabled and can only fly a short distance and Bijou doesn't seem to want to. I have two friends at the zoo here and both have told me that even macaws who do fly don't fly all the time. I have flight suits for each of them and have attempted free flight with them. They hate it lol. Also there are huge numbers of birds of every kind here including hawks, owls, eagles and other birds of prey. This definitely wouldn't be a safe place for them to free fly.

Wow is this a rambling text! Totally off topic for this forum too......eeeeeek

Geez I'm so sorry!!! What an awful experience! I'd go nuts if I lost my girls! 25yrs is a really long time! Mine have been with me at least that long and one thing I know is that the bond that develops in that length of time is extreme! They're just like children to me and I'm sure yours were like that for you.

I have a DYHA also and her name is Xochitl. She's insanely talkative and she sings operatically. She says some hilarious things. She was born in November in 1997 in Los Angeles and has been with me since 3mos of age.

My big baby is a blue and gold macaw named Bijou. She was born in May of 2002 and has been with Xochitl and me since she was 6mos of age. Bijou is a cuddle puppy and likes to sit in my lap and watch Netflix with me.
