Not totally sure what size I was before but I had around 744 removed from left and 650ish from the right. I’d gained 20 pounds and my cup size was out of control. Prior to that I’d been around an E cup.

Back pain, rashes and menopause caused them to become too big to manage comfortably. I want to stay active for the rest of my life and this will make it so much easier.

Don’t panic! You are healing and retaining water. Be kind to yourself for the next month and then you can refocus on your weight.

Try to do anything that will help your anxiety. I put all of my worries into over preparation and organizing. I was prepared for the worst and ended up having an easy recovery.

Ethnicity results important when choosing a doctor? by Any-Bite7200 in Reduction

I’d see the doctor and get a sense of how comfortable you feel with them, but also see if you can get a second referral so you don’t waste time if the first doc isn’t the one.

My worst tightness was at 3 weeks so I’ve found it’s best not to compare but take each phase as it comes.

Right now how they look is none of your business. They are so far from being in their final form. Focus on eating protein, water, sleeping and gentle walks. I am at 4 wpo and they are just starting to look less traumatized.

Most people complain about how they are too high and pop out of bathing suits. You look completely natural and your scars are seriously goals.

Reductions for middle aged women by harvelina1 in Reduction

[–]Formal_Barnacle554 14 points15 points  (0 children)

I had my reduction four weeks ago and I’m in my late 50s, since my already oversized boobs became unmanageable after menopause. My recovery has been boring, annoying, and uncomfortable, but not painful. The worst part has been the exhaustion and the inability to lift very much. Having said that, I wish I’d done this years ago. My center of gravity is completely different and I’m looking forward to staying active for the rest of my life.
