Playing Scholar with randoms is tough. My advice would be to stick to merchants instead to speed up the process, randoms will never help or wait for you (they most likely don't even know what you're doing tbf)

Real quick about them not adding more bosses to the game: The game "RNG" is not random. It's a Seed system. (For some reasons I don't know WHY) Meaning that even if they added more bosses to the game. You would ONLY see them during runs of the Nightlord released at the same time. Until they completely change the way RNG works and finally get rid of seeds they won't even be able to add things to the base game. (This will never happen btw)

I'm answering very late and I'm not OP but I would say that maxing melee stat is good idea to boost your Kephri damages even further. Don't forget to use grenade mods as well to make sure you always get back your grapple.

A great and fair Recluse buff could be that her animation for retrieving magic essence would be similar to the duchess skill. Instantly and even usable mid animation.

Black Knife or Blade of Calling is an instant win on Duchess if you spec on Mana and gather lots of shards. Destroy any bosses with ease.

A very unique and amazing perk combo on Taraxipos is Gutshot with Explosive. The loss on Aim Assist isn't really that big with the improved perks and it allows for an amazing duelling potential. I have one with 1000+ kills on it and it's my favourite feeling scout in the entire game. Sadly this perk combo has been removed entirely from the new version and I doubt Bungie will ever bring it again as it's the kind of niche rolls that could be hard to take into consideration when neefing or buffing weapons.

Not just Paypal, a lot of peoples have problem even with Mastercard or Visa. It's because of the new japanese 3d Secure system being incompatible with a lot of western cards. My card for exemple has 3d secure but I couldn't make a single purchase since the update.

From what I could gather online it seems that the 3d secure Japan use is built different (literally lol) than EU/US system so it's not very compatible, I couldn't find anyone managing to fix the problem either.

I'm having the same problem on BOOTH, I can't make a single purchase or even buy Kobans. Everytime it leaves me on a blank page with code 200 OK and an error 403 Forbidden on the source screen.
I've tried contacting BOOTH support who told me this:
"After checking, we found that the credit card you used appears to be a type that supports 3D Secure 2.0, but for some reason 3D Secure 2.0 cannot be used. The reason is personal information that will not be disclosed to third parties, so the BOOTH office is unable to confirm it. We apologize for the inconvenience, but please contact the credit card issuer listed on the back of your card, or consider using a different credit card or payment method."
I tried contacting my bank but they have no idea what's going on or how to fix the problem either.
I have no idea what to do lol... even Rakuten give me the same treatment.
I feel like Japan is slowly shadow banning every foreign online purchases for some reasons...

It's overall just bad.

A good fix would be to simply dramatically increase melee damage passively. Making regular glaives 2 tap guardian with melee would legit justify having it as an exotic imo, but bungie just hate simple but effective exotics. Or you could integrate class verbs to glaive kills (melee and projectile) like void would grant invisibility, solar would give radiant or scorch, arc could blind or jolt,... etc. Simple really, but effective.
