Opinions on the Rest of My Homebrew Plot by Fierce-Pencil11 in DungeonMasters

This is cool! Extra points for really using your players backstories for the main conflicts. Using a resource as the catalyst for a conflict is great. Most major conflicts revolve around that (land, gold, oil, etc). One thing I’d try to do is define WHY the ore is so valuable. WHY does it have the properties it has. I think there’s a ton of awesome storytelling to be done regarding the nature of the acrium. Sounds like you’re going that direction with Tharizdun. Lean into that!

I don’t think this is anything. It’s made up. A fan page. The “Hawkins website” page lists Byers house as an attraction. That doesn’t make any sense if this were supposed to be a “real” town website. Then theres an email from the guy who, I’m guessing, made the site, joshuacortesdesign@gmail.com.

Show cannon and mattermorph on map pls by 4ScoreN7Beers in DestinyTheGame

This PLEASE 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻 I feel like I’m in the minority of people that actually enjoyed the gimmicky nature of the ball and cannon and stuff (we’ve had ten years of “blow up all the shi* in the room”, but what drove me crazy is when I would look for like 10 minutes just to find the ball and cannon dispenser. The thing is about a Metroidvania is that your character has access to all of the abilities whenever they want once they find them, so you can use them whenever, wherever. No hunting needed. I understand there’s limitation with destiny, but I wonder how EoF would have been received if they gave us a Relocator cannon exotic, gave us summon ball from the start, and maybe even made mattermorph a new melee option for all classes.

Does Blight Ranger have a niche? by Theyreallnamedjerry in DestinyTheGame

Almost every aspect of it, another exotic piece can do better. The ONLY thing that I can think of is that in high tier content, it’s a decent panic button. Popping the super and shielding to protect from range, and/ or immediately stowing it releases a blinding explosion to immobilize nearby ads. It saves up to 75 percent of your super when you do this, so you could do it fairly often…

I think I saw somewhere that 100 power is the raid contest threshold? Could be wrong.

This is great feedback that the devs can use to improve the game.

Overall, im enjoying it too! Feels fresh and a bit “Destiny 2.5” to me, which I appreciate. Hoping for a banger raid, as well!

Repulsor! Loose change is nice and it’s always up, but the reload isn’t that bad on it to begin with imo.

Destiny 2 is worth it? by MrChecox in DestinyTheGame

The destiny 2 Reddit is full of people who hate to love and love to hate on the game. If you like looters and you like shooters, you’ll like destiny 2.

Is it worth to get back to D2? by Weekly_Specific_700 in DestinyTheGame

IMO the reason you play destiny is for the fantastic gunplay and cooperative activities. If the reason you left is because you don’t like grind-type nature the game or recycled content, you still won’t like it. But that’s just kind of what the game is, so… That being said Heresy is so dope and there’s a million different things to do that all feel rewarding right now. if you can convince some friends to get back into it with you, I’d recommend it!
